Our CR1 has been approved by the USCIS, and we are currently on NVC stage. I checked the civil documents that we need to submit, and I found out that I need to submit a police clearance. However, due to the lockdown, I can t get one under my married name. It is okay to use the one that has my maiden name? I m from the Philippines.

Hi! First off, I wanted to say thank you for opening this thread and taking your time reading/answering this easy question. So, my wife is currently living in Dubai and I am here in the U.S. We are going to submit a 'Report Of Marriage' to the Philippine Consulate in Chicago, however, the form or documents needs to be notarized. So how can I get this form notarized, if my wife is in Dubai while I'm in the U.S.? Can she have her signature notarized in Dubai and send in the paperwork to me and I will have mines notarize in here in the U.S - Is that possible? Thank you! Jpoy

My fiancee CEAC showed ready back in March and we were collecting the police clearance from Lebanon before scheduling an interview. Now those doctors are likely lost in the COVID-19 mail. Her fee of $265 is suppose to be paid by 5/21/2020 according to the document she needs to bring to the (BPI)bank. The problem is that she lives in the province and its uncertain if she would be allowed to travel to the city where the bank is. Is there another way I can pay the $265 and start downloading documents? How can I quickly get the Lebanon docs? I already tried a power of attorney to a firm in Lebanon, just to lose out.

My father is a green card holder. He just came here Feb 2019, we filed the i-130 for my sister may 2019. She was 20 at that time. She turned 21 on Aug 2019. My sister petitioned got approved March 30 2020. Now we just got the nvc case number and invoice. Paid aos fee and iv fee. Will she be issued an interview and hopefully a visa once the nvc has all the required documents needed? What confused me is that she's 21. Not married no kids, but why is it going so fast? We didn't expect to be at this stage
