This was a bit confusing and I hope to offer others the benefit of my experience. The online questions and answers are not as obvious as filling out the form directly. I suggest to print or have the offline form available when filling out the questions to generate the online form. Things line space for address information on the online questions may truncate that information when populated into the generated form. As such I also suggest that once you think you have filled it out completely to review the submission where a 'sample' of the online form will be generated. Check that and modify your answers as required. The other gotcha was that after submission I waited for a week for the NOA1 but later when I logged into my USCIS online account I realized that my receipt was generated the same day as submission and that the information about the service center was at the bottom of the PDF receipt viewable from the online account. Finally, when paying for the application I did ACH transfer from a US Bank account which I'm lucky to have considering I live overseas. Not sure how a international Credit card would have worked out. ACH was quick, efficient and free.

Hi I am a US citizen and my wife and I have been DQ d since June 2023. We are awaiting an interview appointment at US Embassy Manila. Does anyone know or hear anything about US Embassy Manila picking up the pace on issuing interview appointments? Is it normal to wait 9+ months for an interview at US Embassy Manila?

Hello, I filed form I-129F in January of 2023, but I made a mistake on the form. In section 3, question 4.a I marked it as "no". I do not have any criminal convictions, but I had forgot about a case from 1999. The case was for telephone harassment, and it was dismissed without a trial. In February of 2023 I sent USCIS a letter explaining the error, and the information that should be included for question 4.a and 4.b. I also included a newly signed I-129F that was correctly filled out, a certified case disposition that shows the dismissal, and the case files from the county clerks office. The petition was approved in November of 2023 and in January of 2024 I received an email from VisaIV-AIT@state.gov, and its apparently from the embassy in Taiwan. The email appears to be intended for my fianc but they sent it to my email instead. The email included a PDF attachment. The PDF contains the approved I-129F and the criminal case files that I mailed to USCIS in February of 2023. The approved I-129F however still showed Part 3 question 4.a marked as "no". Since they included the criminal case files that I mailed to them then is it possible that they also included the amended I-129F and my letter in my visa petition case files? I'm really worried that my fianc is going to waste her time at her visa interview next month.
