I am about to send my k1 visa application, I am a US citizen. In the story of how we met, I included the fact that my fianc has Hepatitis B. My fianc s condition is well maintained, and I am aware that she will have to undergo a medical examination before her US embassy interview. My question is if I have to provide a medical report of my fianc s condition on the application that I am going to send to the USCIS. And if I have to, what should I label it as on the cover letter. My concern is that they will deny the application because of that detail. she's going to get her medical records and a letter from a doctor just in case we do have to add it to the application and I'm also going to get my Hep B vaccination records as well.

Aloha, Since seeing CEAC - Ready and (much later) receiving our K1-FTP, we have been banging our heads against the scheduling website. A couple weeks ago, I sent an inquiry to the Manila embassy about our case. Yesterday I received a reply. In part it says - We received the electronic record from the National Visa Center (NVC) on January 29, 2025. The physical file is in transit to Manila. For the applicant to be eligible for a visa interview, we need to receive both the electronic and physical files. Please be informed that we cannot state with any accuracy how long it usually takes to receive the entire file of a visa case transferred from NVC. It is important to note that we cannot conduct an interview without the physical file. Once we receive the physical file at the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines, we will notify the applicant regarding the next steps. I showed this to a friend on VJ. He has helped us during this process and his advice has been solid gold. He said for K1 visas, the Manila embassy doesn't send anything out after receiving the case and Dina and I should continue with scheduling. But at the same time, this was an official email from the embassy and early in the email, they stated this was for a K1 non-immigrant visa. Not sure what to think or do.

Hello everyone. I would like to ask how I can submit my Naturalization Certificate to NVC through online. I searched on the travel.state.gov website but I can't find how to do it. Thank you to anyone that can help me with this inquiry.

Hello everyone, I'm trying to move my wife and step-son to the US. I am a US citizen born and raised. I met my wife in Europe while working for the US government in Romania. To make a long story short, we like many others were separated during COVID and got married online. We originally planned to get married in Romania, but Romania does not have a Philippines Embassy and we were not allowed to leave Romania because of their Covid rules. Ok, so not to deviate to much from the information I'm trying to obtain here. We for legal purposes were married in Utah. I was in the US at the time and my wife was in the Philippines. Going through the I-130 they are talking about a marriage certificate, for the purposes of how my wife changed her spousal name to her married name. Now, we have a PSA marriage certificate in the Philippines and that allowed her to use her married name for her new Philippines passport. My question is this: Do we need a marriage certificate or is the PSA fine? I'm literally dumping every document I can think of into the I-130, so they can't have any excuses or ask for any sort of documentation. Any and all information would be very helpful, since this would give two people a better shot at life. Thank you.
