Hi, I just had a simple question about the I-130 on the question that asks if we ever lived together? Do I put the dates that I came to visit my wife in the Philippines from the very first time we met in person? Pls let me know, thanks!

Hello all,

My wife is currently awaiting her I-485 to be approved and to get a GC. She already received her EAD and SS card ("VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION"). We are planing to visit my family in NY (We are currently in HI) I was wondering if there are any concerns I should be aware of? I am planning on getting her a state REAL ID since she has a valid foreign passport but the last name is different since we are now married though I am in the process of getting her passport update but it will take awhile and won't be done by the time we are planning on the visit. We will bring her passport and our marriage certificate and NOA just in case as well. WE are just worried with all the changes that is happening with USA immigration we feel maybe we overlooked something or over thinking something.

My wife got a 221g last Feb 12 during her IR-1 interview and we have since complied and mailed her passport to the US Embassy in Manila and I have uploaded my AoS and 2024 tax return to CEAC as requested. They received her passport last Feb 27 I believe, but otherwise we are still waiting for an update.

My question is, a few days ago I decided to also upload my 2024 Federal Tax Transcript even though it was not requested just to make sure we have no problems getting approved. I'm wondering if the Embassy would have checked CEAC already or will they only check once they are ready to make a decision? Thank you!

I am the sponsor for my J-1 wife going through concurrent filing. We received a RFE for my i864ez. I am the sole sponsor. We did not file jointly. I included tax transcripts for the last 3 filing seasons.

The reason for the RFE states that the filer needs to include w2s and 1099s for the recent tax year. So I guess my question is do I need to include w2s and 1099s for tax year 2023 (the instructions said this wasn't needed)? Or is the RFE trying to tell me i need to finish my 2024 taxes and include this info?
