Hi all. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

I'm a US citizen. My wife is a Philippines citizen, is US permanent resident. Our daughter (toddler) is a US citizen.

We're all visiting the Philippines later this year together, and we're thinking about having my wife and daughter stay there for 3-4 months, while I would return to US after only 1 month. After 3-4 months, I would return to the Philippines and we all travel back to US together.

Does my daughter need some kind of visa to stay in the Philippines for 3-4 months? Anything else I need to consider?

Per RapidVisa's instructions:

The U.S. citizen sponsor must print, sign, and mail this form, along with photocopies of the required supporting documents, to the beneficiary 30 90 days before the interview date. The sponsor s original signature is required the U.S. Embassy will not accept a scanned or faxed signature.

When I wanted this clarified whether or not I have to FedEx sensitive (tax etc.) documents from here to Philippines, RapidVisa said:

I understand your concerns about mailing sensitive documents. In situations like this, sponsors are permitted to electronically send scanned copies of the original documents. For the signature page of the Form I-864, it is necessary for the sponsor to sign it with a wet signature, preferably using a black pen. After signing, you can scan the document and send it to the beneficiary so that she can have it prepared before the visa interview.

So, there are contradictions and wondering if any of y'all have FedExed your affidavit of support documents to Philippines or merely scanned, emailed. Also, RapidVisa said to send them "...30-90 days before the embassy appointment." Is there a timeframe on this, as well? Thoughts??

My Petition has been approved, However I indicated on the petition that the beneficiary intends to apply for an immigration visa abroad at a US Embassy or a US Consulate and will also apply for adjustment of status in the United States, Since I have indicate both option. USCIS has retained the petition. Has anyone had this same predicament?

I m about to bring my fianc to the US. My only question is with the affidavit of support. About two and a half years ago both of my parents were diagnosed with cancer about two months apart. Long story short with all of the appointments and everything I paused my career to care for them and make sure they got to all off their specialists etc. I have about 500k in assets and no debt. Most of this is in my home value. I just recently started back at work where I ll make 8-15k per month. I m worried that the lack of income over that period will be a problem. I can get another sponsor but I d rather not if possible. Thoughts? Also my dad passed and my mom is doing great.
