All: Getting ready to do the medical in the next few weeks. Do you know if St. Luke's requires fasting before the blood test on the first day? Fianc e doesn't want to deal with feeling faint. Thanks.

Does the U.S embassy in the Philippines require you to have a copy of I-129f for the interview? |

Hi, everyone. My and my fianc 's I-129f got approved recently. The embassy told her to bring a copy of the completed I-129f form. I had saved all of the information and evidence except some work history dates. The problem is that during 2020/2021 I had several jobs, and I don't remember the exact hire and end of employment dates for all of them to the exact day. It is not possible to get this info from all of the employers because they don't exist anymore. I did file a FOIA request for a copy of the I-129f, but don't know how long that will take. Looking on previous posts I can see a copy of the I-129f is not needed in most countries, but we're not sure if it's the same for Philippines since the embassy specifically requested it. Are we panicking over nothing?

I need advice on what my first step should be. I am US citizen, my mom has a green card but she has been in the ph for 7 years without coming back to CA. She refused to before and now she s sick and finally willing to come back. Her green card expires next year and she has her ph passport. She was married to my dad for 20 years and living in CA for that whole time, but after he passed she decided to stay in the ph. Now I m not sure what to do to get her here. Is it as easy as just buying a ticket? Or will she be turned away at the airport immigration? Does she need to go to DFA OR US EMBASSY in the ph? I live paycheck to paycheck and I don t have money to throw around. Any advice would be super helpful. thank you!!

My fianc is going to the Manila embassy soon for her interview. I already gave her my tax returns from the IRS for the past three years. Do I need to get her a copy of my W-2 s as well? That sounds redundant. Shouldn t that information already be provided in the tax returns?

This screams a terrible idea to me, am I missing anything? Things are well overall, a month or so until through the USCIS process, 129F. She was floating the idea of raising a few pigs for profit? She doesn t have much room, little to no experience doing so. A quick net search shows the practice in the Philippines break even at best. Am I to much of a skeptic? Again, things are well overall. I think she would really try it. I m just thinking, with the ultra low labor costs there, and expenses, any profit would be minimal. It s like the neighbor selling backyard chucked eggs for $3 a dozen, profit is usually negative.
