I134 Questions

Hello all. Any guidance is very much appreciated.

I have some questions on the I134. I'm getting very close to scheduling K1 and K2 interviews. I am above the poverty level in terms of income.

1. My employer uses CCC verify which provides employment verification listing my company, personal info, most recent hire date, employment status as full time/active, job title medical benefits, hourly rate, total yearly salary for each year I have worked there, as well as a snapshot of each pay period since I started working there 4 1/2 years ago. This form is not signed by anyone but does contain my company's logo. Question: Should there be any issue with using this in place of an employment verification letter requested in the instructions? I don't think I'll be able to get that from my HR.

2. I also have a statement from my bank which contains the info required, date opened, amount deposited over last year and current balance. However, my bank's policy is they can only sign this if I go to a branch in person and the nearest branch is several states away. Question: Would there be any issue with this not being signed?

3. I can pull my tax transcripts for the last several years. Would it be safe to say I'll need multiple years?

4. Should I bring paystubs, W2s or any other documentation aside from these 3 items?

5. Do I need all of this documentation since I am above poverty level? I've read some conflicting information on what evidence I may need in this situation.

Recently, our case migrated to ELIS (Electronic Immigration System). And provided us with new receipt number. Have you guys experience this? Do you think they are on our case and processing it? I don't know if this will make the processing time faster but we are hoping. What you guys think? Thanks!

DS-160 question for Filipino with 2 first name and a different Middle Name (Mother's Last Name), should I put it all on Given name?

Greetings,

In the Philippines, our naming convention differs from that of the United States. Here, our middle name typically comprises our mother's maiden surname, as opposed to the American practice of utilizing a second first name or a middle name.

In my particular case, my name structure consists of two first names, followed by a middle name (which is my mother's maiden surname), and finally, my last name.

When completing the DS-160 form, should I consolidate all components of my name under "Given Name"?

For instance:

Surname: Lopez
Given Name: Daisy Jane Cruz

Thank you for your guidance.

hi there, my wife's son (age 11) finally got an interview scheduled for next month June 26 (his priority date was September 2019). Assuming he is approved on that day, how long does it typically take for the consulate to grant him the VISA and update his passport so he can travel to the US? Thank you.

Process for bringing my wifes parents to the US

My wife just filed her N400 and we are looking ahead to possibly bringing her parents to the US after she becomes a citizen. I have a few questions about this.

First of all she will be eligible to petition for them after she becomes a citizen correct?

It is my understanding my wife would file an I-130 for them. Is the process similar to applying for a spousal visa?

It appears as far as documents go they would need birth certificates and a marriage certificate (along with my wifes birth certificate and naturalization certificate)? Is anything else needed? We would like to have her parents start gathering the needed documents now.

Are the processing times for this type of visa similar to a spousal visa or does it take longer?

My wife has a 17 year old brother. It is my understanding that after her parents become permanent residents they can petition for him. Is this correct? Would he have to be under 21 at the time they petition for him?

We would like to petition for my wifes parents as soon as she becomes a citizen so were trying to get all of our ducks in a row right now.
