Not sure where to post this question. My wife's father died so we are currently in the Philippines as of last week. We are planning on staying until August 8. Of course this morning we received notification that her interview is scheduled for July 8. Does anyone have any experience or advice about rescheduling the interview? We could go back to the USA early. It would cost us extra but it is just money, right ;-).

Hi all, I heard you need to print out your confirmation page from the DS-260 to bring to the interview. I don't have my printer setup yet, could I submit my DS-260 online and then print later? Just making sure it's available to print anytime. Thanks!

Aloha, Dina and just sent in our I129-F packet. It was an inordinate amount of paper. EVERYTHING we printed was already in digital format residing on Google Drive. Today I read that once a packet is received, it is torn down and scanned. Huh?????? Why did we bust our asses printing everything and making pretty when we could have converted everything to PDFs and submitted everything electronically? So much time wasted. The stupidity of it all astounded me. It also made me a little sad as the packet was a labor of love for Dina and myself. It was our first chance to see how well we worked together. Mahalo, Bill and Dina

I submitted all the required AOS and Civil Docs to NVC for the petition of my mother who is in the PH. Everything got accepted except for my mother s birth certificate. This is the message from NVC: Part of this document is missing or is difficult to read. Please replace this with a scan that shows the complete text of the document. Please visit https://nvc.state.gov/scan for further guidance. To be honest, I myself had a hard time reading it, it was handwritten in cursive (obviously from 1950s ) its really inelligible and hard to read and looks like a small part of bottom part of the document was missing or no longer visible but its already the best possible image as noted by PSA- the issuing authority. Now, i dont know how to proceed with this. Are there anyone here OR anyone from PH that experience the same thing with NVC. Please help me with some guidance.

We received notice that the case had been received on 03/15/2024 and that the I-797 would be sent in the mail. As of today 05/20/2024, we still have not received it. I have read in most peoples experience that it came in about 4 weeks. My wife's 2 year card expires on the 26th. Not a big deal other than we plan to travel out of the country in mid July.
