US Immigration from Philippines

As previously mentioned, my spouse is applying for a CR-1 Visa. I literally just learned about the PDOS requirement.

Could someone who has gone through this recently provide an explanation of how to sign up and what the wait time for a seminar is? I tried looking for this on Google and it is not straightforward at all. The closest I got was a site saying that "the # of visitors had been exceeded for the day."

With the new fiscal year in October, Is there any reason to believe that the USEM will start processing IR/CR visas again. All 2023 they have be terrible at processing family visas but great at tourist visas. They are very strict on expedite request and seem to not care about family visas.

CEAC says we will be contacted regarding the next steps. I understand every country is different. Will the embassy send us an info packet? Or do we just go ahead and find out how to submit the DS-160, get the receipt, and make our appointments?

My K2 children AOS was filed May this year, no SSN yet and my husband asking how it work if the kids has no SSN and he mentioned about ITIN for tax. He wanted to list their names before filing tax early nexy year. He wanted to know what is the process, cause i don't even know about that.

Hi everyone!

I am a US Citizen and my mother is currently here in Los Angeles. She was supposed to leave last August 31st, but my husband and I decided to have her stay and we just file for her petition and adjustment of status.

I have consulted through Just Answer with an immigration lawyer on the forms that I need to file and some guidelines. I know the forms I need to submit are:

I-130

I-485

I-864

I-765

G-1145

I am getting anxious given that the total filing fee is a huge amount, I want to make sure and get your inputs if this is really something that I can do on my own with seeking assistance from an Immigration lawyer.
