My fianc e had her medical exam yesterday and was mostly cleared. However they found her self harm scars from well over a decade ago when she had a rough time in high school. (Don't worry, she has been fine since then ). She had the foresight to go see a psychologist a few weeks ago, and they signed off saying that she is mentally sound and good to go. She brought that document with her and showed it to the people doing the medical exam but she still has to return for a follow up about it. Is this just a standard procedure? Has anyone else had experience with this? I don't think it's going to result in her being rejected or anything, just want to make sure she doesn't need to bring anything else or prepare for certain questions.

Please explain what CFO is and steps to get it and where.

I am scheduling exams for a Monday and interviews for the following Friday. I am trying to cut back on expenses, so hoping just one trip to Manila, from Subic.

Do they need to wait for their visas, or can I combine the CFO for that same week.

Also, what is the fee they need to pay after getting visa, how to pay and how much.

I have somewhat of an odd situation that I m hoping to get some information for. I wonder if anyone else may have gone through the same. I also didn t see specific category for this, so posting here.

My mom is a permanent resident and is eligible to apply for citizenship since 2021. She is currently residing in the US. Given there was no rush to apply, we waited until now to start the process. Unfortunately, my mom caught Covid and developed a mental disability that she s still suffering. After going through all her stuff, we realized her green card is lost.

We thought that it would help her health if she s able to come back to our home country for a couple of months so I looked into the process to request a new green card. I knew it was gonna take some time, but was surprised the wait time is currently 23 months. I looked up wait times for citizenship and saw it was 8 months processing time, so was hoping to submit this instead. Am I able to submit this for my mom even if she lost her green card? Is the physical card needed at any point of the process?

I was also wondering if there s some kind of assistance and way to request expedited processing for a green card replacement due to medical reasons?

This is the dumbest system Ive ever seen. You make people wait a year and a half to be together and then they have to play roulette for a damn interview slot? So now we have to take turns clicking through every 20 mins until something opens up? Do we have to go through this for the medical and cfo appointments too or are they easier?

So I need to report a DUI I got in 2007 even though it came up as a misdemeanor?
