Visa Bulletin & Priority Date Questions?

Hi there,

This is my step-son's (age 12) case. My wife is a permanent resident and her son is in the Philippines. We've been waiting for a long time for the interview to be scheduled.

On Nov. 16, 2021, his case was documentarily approved. All that is needed in the interview.

VISA CLASS: F22
YOUR CASE IS CURRENTLY AT: NVC
FOREIGN STATE OF CHARGEABILITY: PHILIPPINES
INTERVIEW LOCATION: MANILA
PRIORITY DATE: 30-SEP-2019

The Visa Bulletin For October 2023 (state.gov) shows for F2A in Philippines this: Feb, 8, 2019.

If my step-son's case priority date is Sept. 30, 2019, how do I interpret what the bulletin says, and approximately how much longer could we be waiting for an interview to be scheduled?

Many thanks to all who can help us understand the VISA bulletin.

DS-160 messed with formatting.

My fianc e filled out and submitted her DS-160 today, but whatever program they use messed up the formatting where she had typed her duties at her current and previous jobs. It didn't look like this on the application, only after she received her personal copy. I personally don't think this is going to be a big deal because it's still readable. Since this is just her personal copy, it may look different on their end, and even if it did get wonky on their end, I am pretty sure she is not the first person this has happened to and it's not going to get her visa rejected or require a rescheduling. However she's still very upset and I think it would help calm her nerves to get other people's opinions who have been on this journey before. So any feedback will be appreciated.

Waiting on NOA2: Pending Charge on Petitioner’s Credit Union

Hi all! My fiance, the petitioner, just found a pending charge for visa processing on their credit union from the USCIS. He had submitted the petition at the end of April 2023, got our NOA1, and fast-forward to 6 months later, is still waiting for the NOA2. It s only October 2023 right now that we are waiting for the NOA2.

Is this a sign that we should be preparing for the next steps for the NOA2? Or is it still too early and we should just wait? I really don t know whether the pending charge means the officers are looking into our case or what

Personal Evaluation/Psych Evaluation SLEC for K1 Visa

Hi guys, so I went to SLEC for my medical exam last Friday. I was able to do all of the procedures, but after the PE, the doctor said she would refer me to a psychotherapist. She asked me if I went to a psychiatrist before and I said yes, and she also asked me about the self-harm scar I had on my wrist that was only last year (it was the first and last time, never did it again.) When I was sent to the office for US follow-up, they said that I needed the psychiatrist's certificate so I can bring it for the psych evaluation tomorrow, but the thing is, it's been 5 years since I went to the psych and I don't even know her name anymore. It was a one-time thing and I never went back because I was able to manage myself and heal after that. Would it be fine if I didn't bring anything to present when I go to my psych evaluation? Do the chances of me getting denied by the embassy increase if the doctor is not satisfied without any documentation in hand proving that I'm well now and I'm not a threat to myself and to others? I'm really stressing out about this. Does anyone have a similar situation?
