US Immigration from Philippines

Hey all,

Unfortunately, my marriage has come to an end after a 16 year relationship. Not my choice.

When we married in the Philippines, I was the U.S. citizen, now we both are.

I have met a Filipina who I would like to marry. My question is, what would I need to do to marry her there, as I have marriage recorded in the Philippines?

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks is advance.

Hi, everyone. As mentioned in my past post, I am new here so I don't how how to post in the Bahrain portal...

I'm the foreign fianc (Filipina) currently living in Bahrain. So, anybody here knows how to get the police clearance/ Good Conduct Certificate? Please advise. Thank you.

And question for the general public:

1. I have lived here since 2018 (was 23y/o), do I still have to get Police clearance from the Philippines? I have read that I need that from the places I have lived in since 2016.

2. (For Filipino members) I have already my Certificate of NO Marriage, but I think its only valid for 6months (?). So, if it expires before we got the interview schedule, which when I would need it, Do i have to get a new valid copy? Or I can use the one I have now even if its already expired by then?

Just researching on how to get all the possible requirements I might need for the interview. Cant say that I have OCD but I just want to prepare/know everything before we get the list of requirements even if it is still far. Given also that I am away from my home country and acquiring some of the documents might take time to get here in Bahrain.

We are about to file a standalone I-130. The birth place (city) on my passport is different from my birth certificate. My birth certificate is the correct one. The encoder put my city of residence when I first got my passport and just never had it corrected. Will this cause an issue and do I need to correct my passport first?

Correcting my passport will be really complicated as I got married in the US, have to register it with Philippine Consulate in LA, get a PH-issued marriage certificate (takes a year), and currently living in the UK away from my husband.

I didn t have issues getting other visas (UK Skilled Worker, US B1/B2, other tourist visas) but worried this might affect my CR-1 application because it is an immigrant visa.
