Hi everyone, just got my citizenship and I'll be filing to bring my dad here in US under I-130 form. If everything works out well I believe it'll take at least 13 to 14 months of him being here as permanent resident. We just want to make preparations of what will be your advice how to go about bringing my other family member: - Unmarried brother above 21 years old
- Married brother, with wife and 2 kids
Family from the Philippines.

I am petitioning my mother here to USA from the Philippines. She received an email from nvc saying her application was expedited to post even though we didn't request for it. our application is documentarily completed and just waiting for interview also. its been almost a year of waiting since we finish all docus, so i am quite static of this update. I checked her application, and it says its currently in manila embassy. is anyone else had the same experience? if yes how long did it take for embassy to schedule your appointment? thank you!

I have a couple questions or concerns if anyone has a moment to answer them please. After I become a US Citizen I see the Philippines requires you to apply for Dual Citizenship to retain your Philippines Citizenship too. How would they even know I became a US Citizen if I don t tell them? I m confused by this and it just seems like a money grab to me to get more money from us. So is this even necessary to do? My second question is if I do apply for dual citizenship and fill out the form will that application affect my US Citzenship then? On their site it says, Prospective applicants for dual citizenship under R.A. 9225 are advised to visit and read the contents of the website of the U.S. Department of State which contains information about current U.S. government policy on dual nationality, or to seek legal advice from a U.S. immigration lawyer. Thanks!

My sister on F3 finally received noticed that CEAC status is now In- Transit. During filing last 2020 they initially plan for spouse To Follow so didnt do anything except Pay the visa application. Now, they decided to plan Accompany but unable to change status in CEAC. How should they proceed and will this require new application with my sister as the sponsor? Any possibility that they can be interviewed at same time?
