Hello group we wanna ask a question about a form they appear to have checked as item needed at the interview for my stepson. I petition him his mother has been in the USA since June 2019 we are now ready to schedule the interview they are asking for form I864A from my wife she doesn't work and I make more than enough for our household size why would they request this form I864A if we do upload and send to the interview it would show 0000 for income from her however we did file joint taxes together so the transcript show married filing jointly but on the transcripts for her SS number doesn't show any income could this be a mistake that they have this on the list of documents to bring any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated?

Now I really have a situation, or do i? My Filipina fiance had passport photos taken at a Philippines "passport shop". She sent me one and I attached it to the K-1 Fiance application and submitted it. Now in hindsight I looked at the photo again and realized that she was smiling and her teeth were exposed. She has an appointment to get her Philippine Passport next week. The problem I have is as follows:

1.) Should she go ahead and get her Philippine passport using the same photo I submitted to USCIS or should she go have a passport photo retaken by a photo shop that knows what the hell they are doing and use that photo?

2.) If USCIS rejects the passport photo that I already submitted to them and requests a new photo and she has gotten her PI passport with the smiling photo will there be an issue? I know all photos are supposed to match up.

3.) If the Philippine Passport accepts the smiling photo should she just go ahead and use that? Or should I have her go and get a new passport photo taken that meets the USCIS criteria?

4.) If she does use the smiling photo a gets the PI passport and USCIS later rejects the smiling passport photo will she need to go back and get an updated PI passport that with the new photo so it matches up with the new photo?

Sorry about the long story. Any questions or answers?

Mahalo, David

Hello.

Me and my wife are planning a trip to the Philippines in late July, to visit her family. We plan on visiting different parts of the Philippines. Manila, Boracay, Bohol. Last 3 days we were planning on going to Singapore and flying back to Denver. i like that country and wanted to take my wife there just us and our daughter, but her sister who lives in Manila want to go. It kind of upset me because we are paying round trips Air, for my wife sister husband and their 4 kids, to go to Bohol from Manila to visit My wife parents. I have some questions. I hope someone can help.

I. have research but not found information I am looking for.

1. I know if you are unvaccinated a negative test and health card is required for entry into Philippines. Is the Negative test good for all of Philippines or do you have to provide another one if you go to another province?

2. How easy will it be for her sister to go to Singapore? I know she does not need visa, but my wife told me, her sister needs to fly with us to be able to prove funds. For staying there.

3. I read on a couple of sites that Filipinos traveling to visit another country need Corno virus Insurance is that true?

4. What are the requirements for my wife sister to renter The Philippines. Does she need a negative test if Unvaccinated? Does she need a health card to reenter? Me and my wife will be flying back to Denver from Singapore.

if someone can answer some or all of questions. I will appreciate it

Thanks

USCIS Announces Additional Mail Delivery Process for Receiving ADIT Stamp

Sounds like it may simplify things for some. Although I'm not sure why it would be so much more difficult for them to mail a new Green Card than it is to mail a temporary paper one. It also seems to say that Permanent Residents may be mailed I-94's??? I'm not quite sure how that makes sense.

USCIS Announces Additional Mail Delivery Process for Receiving ADIT Stamp

Release Date
03/16/2023

Lawful permanent residents may receive temporary evidence of their lawful permanent resident status by mail rather than physically visiting a field office to receive an Alien Documentation, Identification and Telecommunication (ADIT) stamp (also known as an I-551 stamp).

Lawful permanent residents are entitled to evidence of status and may require temporary evidence of their status in the form of an ADIT stamp if:

When lawful permanent residents call the USCIS Contact Center to request temporary evidence of status, an immigration services officer will verify their identity, their physical mailing address, and whether that address can receive UPS or FedEx express mail. They will then either schedule an in-person appointment for the lawful permanent resident, if needed, or submit a request to the USCIS field office to issue the ADIT stamp. If an in-person appointment is not needed, the USCIS field office will review the request for temporary evidence and mail the applicant a Form I-94 with ADIT stamp, DHS seal, and a printed photo of the lawful permanent resident obtained from USCIS systems.

USCIS may issue temporary evidence of status in the form of an ADIT stamp. USCIS determines if the requestor should receive an ADIT stamp and has the discretion to determine the validity period based on the lawful permanent resident s situation (not to exceed one year, unless specified otherwise by regulation or policy).

Some lawful permanent residents will still need to appear in person at a USCIS field office to receive temporary evidence of their status, including those who have urgent needs, do not have a useable photo in USCIS systems, or whose address or identity cannot be confirmed.

The new process will allow USCIS to issue temporary evidence of lawful permanent resident status in a timely way without requiring a scheduled appointment at the field office, thereby reducing the burden on our applicants and increasing availability of field office resources.

Hello! I am new to this site and the page really helped me a lot. You were able to answer my questions. My parent s Medical will be on the 28th of March and the interview will be on the 30th.

What supporting legal documents should I bring to the US Embassy upon interview?

My sister who s at the United States sent me her original Tax Analysis 2019 way back 2020 since my mom s DS-260 was completed last June 2020.

Should I bring the original Tax Analysis for 2019?

And scan her latest Tax Analysis which is issued 2022?or will the W2 page suffice the financial support documents? I m sorry, I m not from the US that s why I m not really familiar with the terms. I m assisting may parents on their interview.

With regards to DS-260 confirmation, should I bring only one copy which is the confirmation page alone?

I just want to have a smooth transaction especially that we live in the province and my parents are senior citizen. I hope someone could help me. Thanks a lot!
