Hi All,

I need help on what to do at this point.

My mom had her medical exam done on January 23rd, 2023 but she had to do the sputum test so I had to cancel her first interview appointment. Yesterday, she had her immunization which means that she is good to go for the interview but the first available appointment I saw online is on July 6th, 2023 which is the same day her medical exam expires. I called the embassy and they said that the interview is not guaranteed on that day due to that. Please, I need help on what to do. Is there a possibility that there will be an earlier appointment if I keep on checking? Anybody who experienced this kind of situation? Please I don't want my mom to do another medical exam.

Thank you!

Good day VJ!

We will file our children's AOS after admitting as K2 follow to join. I'm a little bit confused what exactly is the fee for K2 aged 10,7 and 6?

I read somewhere the USCIS changed the fees again. Thank you if anyone here can answer my question.

To fellow I-130 IOE90XX filers

To fellow I-130 filers, with case number IOE90XXX (so no 0 before 9), how is it going/has it been for you? I keep checking hilites.today and even if I know it is not truly a representation of most of the cases processed, the ones I see getting approved and RFE'd are Case Numbers IOE09XXX. I don't want to think the zero in the case number is a negligible character, so I wonder where the IOE90XX cases are.

Mine has been pending for 15 months. Last January, a very abruptly-cut chat with Emma said the case was in NBC and last week it's in California Service Center. That it has moved locations is probably a good sign, but the wait is still excruciating. Any feedback is appreciated.

OkCupid Terms & Conditions: Which to Highlight?

Hello,

I have read that some COs see OkCupid as an international marriage broker and I have considered including related proof for them in our I-129F package.

I plan on including OkCupid's Terms and Conditions as well as a confirmation email from an OkCupid representative. Here is the link of OkCupid's Terms and Conditions: https://help.okcupid.com/hc/en-us/articles/6640690915469-Terms-Conditions#:~:text=You agree that OkCupid may,%3B (iii) respond to claims

What information should I highlight on OkCupid's Terms and Conditions page, or should I just include the entire thing without highlights/emphasis on any specific information?

F1 program completion, in AOS, next steps

Background: I am a USC petitioning my husband who is F1. The 130/485/etc package was sent in January 2023 and priority date is current. No movement except for biometrics. We met after he arrived on F1.

My husband will complete his edu program next month however our lawyer is giving confusing advice. She says "you should keep going to school during AOS. Don't stop going to school." But she doesn't explain or offer any more info.

He is not dropping out, he is finishing his program.

I thought as long as he completed his F1 program, there should not be an issue adjusting as he followed through with the original intent of the F1.

Questions:

Does he have to enroll in more school or no?

If yes:

What about when his EAD arrives? He would begin working, which invalidates his F1 correct? So this conflicts with the "keep going to school" advice. We assume he will not receive or active the EAD anytime soon anyway, possibly not for many more months.

If he does have to enroll in more school until his GC is approved, does he have to finish that program too or can he stop going once the GC arrives?

Wouldn't enrolling in another edu program be considered F1 fraud as he now has immigrant intent b/c he filed for AOS?

We can't afford to pay for school for potentially another 2 years. Would this be taken in to consideration?

I believe the lawyer is advising him to stay in school in case of GC denial, he would have F1 as a safety net. But we don't really foresee a denial, our case is strong.

If he is in fact denied, he'd have leave the US anyway. There is no point in remaining on F1 forever.

Please help me understand what he is supposed to do next. Thank you.
