I am sure this is a familiar sight,,, My research is mixed, so I come to the experts that have their own scars. Three questions - 1. How long are we locked out? 2. What is the generally accepted number of allowed checks per day? 3, What is the best time of day (Manila time) to submit to this torture??

Hi all, Still waiting for an update from the US Embassy in Manila about my wife's 221g regarding her IR-1 interview after submitting the 2024 Tax Return they required and somehow got an email from the Embassy regarding ANOTHER person's case status. They literally sent me and my wife and the actual correct person (3 different email addresses) an email regarding receiving this person's petition from the NVC. This person has a Case Number similar to my wife's, but slightly different at the end. What do I do lol? Thank you!

Hello, I am a lawful permanent resident since 2016. My mom worked here in the US for 20+ years and she petitioned us when she had her greencard. When we got here in 2016, we received our greencard months later. Sadly, i misplaced my greencard last 2023, and I immediately filed for I-90. I already did the biometrics so I am just waiting for it. The receipt notice i received didn t say anything about an extension. Only the acknowledgement that they received my application and the other is the biometrics appointment itself. I read that LPRs who filed I-90 are eligible for a 36 month extension. I am worried because my greencard will expire in 2026. Am I still eligible for the extension? Despite them not saying it's approved yet and them didn't put it in my receipt notice? And is it an acceptable document if I file for I-551? Which by the way, I am currently looking for a job, and I really want to get one before I get hired so I don t have delays getting it. Can I still get an I-551 even though I am actively looking for a job? Or should I wait for me to get hired so I can have a reason? I am panicking right now. I feel like it's the end of the world for me. And my family is disappointed with me because I lost it. I appreciate all of your help. English is not my first language. Sorry.

Hi, my adult daughter, 21 yrs old (K2) left home a year ago and cut off contact due to a disagreement we had. Her ROC is still pending. I recently had my N-400 interview (ROC pending), and the USCIS officer asked me about my daughter. I stated that she moved out a year ago and hasn't had any contact since. I clarified that even though she stopped contact, I am still continuing her ROC as my dependent. I passed the N-400 test but I still don't have status change because of pending ROC. Has anyone experienced having their K2 move out while pending ROC? Will this affect the process?
