Has anyone attempted to get a waiver for the Adam Walsh Act that prevents a sex offender from sponsoring their fiance? If so, what was the process like? Did it work?

Iwas told by a lawyer that it rarely ever is approved because the decision comes down to a politician who is just trying to to curry favor with the public. He said he doesn't recommend this as it almost always fails and ends up being a waste of time and money.

I petitioned my mom and I received an RFE (i485) about that I "Failed to answer Public Charge inadmissibility questions." I answered no, but the right answer is Yes...

1) It's asking for size of your household, what number should I put 1? Which is my mom the applicant? Or my household? Me, husband and 2 kids, applicant (mom) total 5?

2) Annual household income

which should I put? My mom? But she doesn't have income since she lives with me and I am the one who petition her... Or Me and my husband income since she live with us?

Hi everyone,

I received both I-751 request to appear for initial interview and N400 naturalization appointment letters asking me to appear on May 1, same time/location. It will be 2 years this Oct since I applied for my greencard renewal so I went ahead and applied for naturalization, which was processed/scheduled within 2.5 months. My question is, I-751 letter says my spouse needs to be present and I need to bring all related documents, whereas N400 does not require my spouse to be present, and only required basic papers. Which one should I follow? TIA!

Just an idea, the thought is to get a lung x-ray prior to the St Luke s medical exam?

What if the beneficiary went to another hospital to get a chest x-ray, looking for the same sputum condition? Then if a problem was evident, one could start treatment months before the official medical check? What is the first time failure rate? Lung exam?

Just a thought as the 129F is moving along.
