Hello to everyone, My fianc lives in the Philippines and I am in the US. Been going through the K1 visa process and we both have gotten everything done up to the point of trying to schedule an appointment. We check daily but it always says no appointments available. Also sometimes too we get rate limited or blocked or her account got locked for 72 hours. Was just wondering if anyone had any tips to try to schedule an interview. We tried different times of the day, we call the phone numbers though when I looked so different numbers so I'm not sure which number for her to call, so any tips would be greatly appreciated. Also if it has been a long time for anyone to get an appointment for K1 what would you say the time frame till how long you were able to schedule an appointment? My main concern is my approval notice was only valid from 04/02/2024 to 08/01/2024 so I am worried if it expires what would I need to do. Again appreciate any help or tips anyone can give me. Have a great day/night everyone.

Petition was approved last month and I inquired to nvc if case number has been created. I got a generic response from nvc that case is established but leaves the number out. The invoice I.D. number for visa petition {CASE_NUMBER} is: {CASE_MASTER_ID} The beneficiary I.D. number for {PA_FULL_NAME_FIRST_LAST} is {BENEFICIARY_ID}. The National Visa Center (NVC) has received your petition from U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services. Your NVC case number is {CASE_NUMBER}. Due to your petition type, you will not receive a request for fee payment or document submission. All case parties will be notified when this petition is forwarded to the assigned U.S. Embassy/Consulate General. Anyone else received this message? Not sure if the case number is created or it's their way of saying to wait more.

hello everyone! I had an interview January 16 2024 and got 221g that says " to verify court order" as i have old criminal case which was already dismissed and they told me to wait on their call after that interview. So June 10 2024 i received a letter from them saying i need to nbi manila for interview and need a nbi written explanation. Did some go through this process? How much is the payment for it?

We recently received our K1 Visa Case number and were notified that our case has been received by the NVC. However, we noticed that our Case number, MNL2024662080, starts with the initials MNL, which we have been told indicates that our case is bound for the embassy in Manila,Philippines. I am a citizen of the Philippines, but I'm currently living and working in Chiang Mai,Thailand. We already sent an inquiry about this. But should we do a transfer of case at this point? Thanks in advance for your answers.

| Massive increase in medical fees by Saint Luke's |

Effective August 19 there will be HUGE increases in the cost of the medical exams at Saint Luke's. The fees for ages 15+ increases from P18,540 to P28,250. A whopping 52% increase to nearly $500. Below age 15 the price is raised from P11,400 to P13,910. A 22% increase. They are attributing the increase to a policy change extending IGRA TB testing to all adults. Although the increase is substantially more than the cost of IGRA testing even in the US and they had been doing IGRA testing profitably for all child applicants for years at the previous child's price. Not to mention how far out of line it is with the costs of any type of normal medical care in the Philippines. If there is any bright side, presumably this would replace their infamous x-ray machine and reduce the number of applicants being unnecessarily sent for sputum testing.
