US Immigration from Philippines

Hi all,

I have a question concerning changing the document pick up location of visas. We have K1 and K2 interviews scheduled for 6/18. Currently, we have the pickup location in US Travel docs as Ormoc City. I am reading that things move much faster in Manila and would like to know if we can update the pickup location to Manila now without causing any serious hiccups in the process? It makes more sense to stay in Manila and pick everything up there as well as go through CFO there than travel back to Ormoc and then Cebu for CFO. Is it relatively quick and easy to schedule CFO in Manila as well? As always thank you for your input!

I'm a bit confused about the "photographs" upload requirement on CEAC for Civil Documents requirements. It doesn't list the requirement here specifically https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-5-collect-financial-evidence-and-other-supporting-documents/step-7-collect-civil-documents.html. Also on the confirmation page for the DS-260 it mentions the requirement for submitting photos, but only once a Visa Interview Appointment has been set.

My confusion lies in do I upload Visa Photos now and is that what they are asking for on the CEAC upload?

I have worked in IT all my life and I have never seen a site so junked up by ad's (almost all appear to be Google ad's). Even with my background, I find myself having to be super careful navigating the site. And it's a damn shame because the information here is beyond priceless. I would pay a nominal amount for an ad-free version of VJ without a second thought.

I am using the latest Edge. I also have the latest AdBlock plug-in. Nevertheless, I continue to get hammered. Has anyone had any luck circumventing these intrusions??

Not sure where to post this question. My wife's father died so we are currently in the Philippines as of last week. We are planning on staying until August 8. Of course this morning we received notification that her interview is scheduled for July 8. Does anyone have any experience or advice about rescheduling the interview? We could go back to the USA early. It would cost us extra but it is just money, right ;-).

Hi all, I heard you need to print out your confirmation page from the DS-260 to bring to the interview. I don't have my printer setup yet, could I submit my DS-260 online and then print later? Just making sure it's available to print anytime. Thanks!
