I'm trying to schedule a B2 visa interview for my brother and uncle. Does anybody know if I can schedule one interview for them together or do I have to schedule two interviews separately? The interview will be held at the US embassy in Manila.

Thank you!

Sharing Regarding USEM CR1 Interview Expedite Request

Just FYI for anyone else considering requesting an expedite:

My wife was robbed July 3rd in Manila. They took everything she had. The next day, a man started messaging her (because they have all her contact information), stating his father had found several of her belongings and to come out and meet him to get them back. The police told her they suspected this was the budol budol gang, and a police officer went with her to meet this man. The short version: No one was arrested. There is no way to prove they were part of this gang. Maybe they really were good samaritans. But... My wife is still getting messages to come out and meet this person. Alone. And she's terrified they will come to her apartment.

After NVC DQ'd her, we sent a request for an expedited interview, and we sent the police blotters, police reports, and messages, all translated into English.

USEM still denied her expedite. Actually, they didn't deny it. They said they couldn't accommodate it at the present time.

So, I'm not saying don't request an expedite, because the worst they can do, I suppose, is say no, but based on other expedite requests I've read about that were granted, it's sure disappointing...maddening, actually...that my wife has to wait however long it takes for her interview, stressed out and scared.

Good luck to all the others out there waiting on USEM. I hope your cases flow smoothly.

Jason

I-751 Removal of Conditions, September 2023 Filers

Well since we will be mailing our packet tomorrow I guess it's time to start a September 2023 thread.

Our 90 day window started the last week of July but we were out of the country last month so we put it off until we got back to avoid any surprise biometric appointments or missed notices.

It looks like we will be sending in....

G-1450 credit card authorization.
G-1145 E-notification.
I-751 of course.
Copies of their green cards, front and back, and passports.
Copies of California Real ID Driver Licenses for my wife and I plus California Real ID card for my stepdaughter all at the same address.
IRS tax return transcripts of our 2022, 2021, and 2020 joint US tax returns.
Statements from our joint checking account showing joint ownership of the account and direct deposits of both of our salaries plus payments of bills in each other s names. However only the last 5 months. Prior to that we had separate accounts and just shared expenses.
Dated photographs of our family together in numerous places at intervals throughout our time together in the US, plus photos of my almost 80-year-old American mom meeting her Filipino in-laws on vacation in Manila.
Copy of a California car title showing joint ownership and two years joint car registration.
Copies of various car insurance notices and proof of insurance listing both drivers, covering almost the entire period they have been in the US.
Copies of both of our 401K s beneficiaries with each listing the other spouse as beneficiary.
Copies of our Visa, Mastercard and Discover credit cards showing joint accounts.
Copies of various club cards and membership cards showing joint accounts.
Copies of various airline boarding passes and receipts for vacations we took together.
Copies of my stepdaughter's continuous registration from our address in our neighborhood s public elementary school for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. The school registration lists both of us as emergency contacts with full authorization to pick her up from school.
Copy of my stepdaughter's California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress test results showing two years results with her living at our address and enrolled in our neighborhood public elementary school.
Paystubs for my wife periodically throughout her time in the US showing her continuous presence at our home address.

We ll be double triple checking everything this evening and probably send it by Priority Mail flat rate mailer ("if it fits, it ships") to Phoenix drop box in the morning.

I'm hopeful that is good enough, however notable deficiencies would include not having any joint lease or other paperwork associating both names with the house. All of our health insurance is separate since my wife and I each get it from our employer and neither plan is any good for adding the step-daughter so we just pay her insurance separately out of pocket. No kind of joint utility bills or anything like that and as I mentioned only the last 5 months have we had a joint checking account. I also didn't bother to get any affidavits from anyone.

I guess we will find out if it was good enough in like 2025 or something.

Hello, I'm in a dilemma and could really use some guidance. So, my family and I are almost ready for our F3 visas. We've got everything sorted out, except for one - the embassy interview.

Our medical exams are about to expire in just a month, and we've been diligently checking the visa appointment portal for two whole months. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to find any available interview dates. I'm in the F3 visa category, and to be honest, I'm getting pretty worried. We're trying our best to follow all the rules, but this waiting game is causing a lot of stress.

If anyone here has experience with expediting the embassy interview appointment process for F3 visas or has been in a similar situation, I would greatly appreciate your advice. Time is running out, and we could really use some help to make this process smoother. Thanks a bunch for taking the time to read this. Ask anything if you need more information. Your input could make a huge difference for my family and me during this stressful period!

P.S. We actually had an interview appointment scheduled before we even took the medical exam. But the doctors said that we have to cancel the interview appointment in the embassy until we receive the results of the medical because they saw something in my X-ray, and so we did. Now we have the medical, but it's been months until we last saw an available booking for an interview.

Traveling with expired I-751 extension?

My wife and I are planning a trip to the Philippines next May. The last NOA we received extended her conditional permanent resident for 24 months from the expiration date on her Green Card. The expiration date will be later this year on 09/26/23. What will we need to do before leaving? Is there a document we need to apply for in order to have proof of status?

Also our trip will have us out of country for 75 days. I seem to recall reading something about being out of country for too long during the immigration process, but I can t remember the particulars. Is there anything we need to be aware of for extended stays out of country?

I would appreciate any information that might help us to be prepared for our trip. Thanks.
