I asked it to compose a poem about the trials and tribulations of processing a K-1 Visa.....this is what if came up with. NOT BAD!! -
In the realm of love, where dreams intertwine, A journey begins, a path to align. Let me craft a poem, to empathize and share, The stress of bringing your love, with utmost care. From the Philippines to the USA's shore, A K-1 visa, a process to explore. The anticipation, the paperwork's weight, Navigating the system, a daunting state. The distance between, aching hearts apart, Yearning for the day, when you'll never part. The waiting, the longing, the endless desire, To be together, to ignite love's fire. Forms to be filled, documents to obtain, Proof of love, a relationship to sustain. Patience tested, as time slowly goes by, Hoping for approval, with a heartfelt sigh. But amidst the stress, remember the love, The bond that's unbreakable, soaring above. Support each other, through every trial faced, Knowing that love's strength cannot be erased. Hold onto hope, for the day will arrive, When your Filipina fianc will thrive, In the land of opportunity, side by side, Building a future, with love as your guide. So, embrace the journey, though stress may arise, Love will conquer, as it always implies. May your hearts find solace, as you endure, Knowing that love's power is steadfast and pure.

So finally we have the "ISSUED" we've been waiting for for 20 months! It's been a very long and stressful process....but here we are! My fiance has 2 children and we intend for them to join us in the USA next year in July after the eldest graduates high school. She is 16 now and her younger brother is 12. Both of these children were listed and included in my original I-129F application, and in fact they have their own case numbers listed along with my fiance's number on CEAC. My fiance says "ISSUED" and the children say "READY". My question is, can we use my fiance's ustraveldocs account to apply for these k-2 visas in the future, or does each child have to create their own ustraveldocs account. The youngest doesnt even have an email address but I suppose that's an easy fix. The intention is to have them both do the medical next year in April or May, and have the interviews shortly thereafter. Also, do they both need in person interviews, or only the daughter since she is over the age of 14? Any clarification on the overall process would be greatly appreciated!

My wife and I are taking a (VERY) log overdue honeymoon starting 10/31. Our plans were to go to Thailand and then spend three days in South Korea on the way home. I have a USA passport and my wife has a Philippine passport and USA green card. Unfortunately for me, my wife told me that she didn't need a Visa to Korea. (She claims she did, but whatever). So I decided to check and yes, she does. Here is the issue: The Korean embassy is in Atlanta. Assuming I mail all the documents to them, it takes 14 days to process and then they mail back. (USPS mail). I asked them if I fly to Atlanta does it help? They said they still need 14 days and will mail it back. I'm not even sure I'd have her passport back by the time we leave, and if not, the whole trip is dead. I emailed the Korean embassy in Bangkok, but they told me that I would have to live in Thailand for 2 years before they could help us. Would you all take the chance? If I don't get the Korean embassy, we have an issue coming home. BUT: we at least get the Thailand portion of the trip. If I mail it, I *might* get it back on time? (It's already the 11th!) Wife REALLY wants to go and she's accusing me of sabotaging the Korean portion of the trip. Am I overthinking this? I tend not to trust the USPS or government agencies in general with time-sensitive items. (We only booked this trip two weeks ago ...) Thanks in advance.

Good day VJ, It's been 5mos now since my children's AOS application filed, now i open their accounts ( I check status every single day) and notice a message that says XXXX Adjust Status (Cuba). I called the USCIS about this and surprised that the agent can't proceed since his application has no parents listed. OMG. What is going on now? I don't even know which service center or field office to mail and send a request or ask about this situation. Why this happened?
