We're hoping this week they FINALLY give us a case number and send the k1 petition to manilla already. I'm not sure why it takes 60 days (according to them) to do this but I'm also not sure why it took almost 9 months for uscis to do their job. jeez we would like at least this stuff to be done before the end of the year, see SOME progress. Been here since may with my fiance and this thing hasn't even left the usa left. It's always so crazy to me how the us gov expects people to just wait and keep their life on hold.

I just filed the I129F Petition 2 weeks ago and in my particular case as the petitioner, my income is slightly above the income for a family of 4 at 125% FPL. I make enough for this but I also was concerned by the fact that I was on Medicaid (since 2017) and it was extended by COVID so never removed. I cancelled this benefit 4 months ago, before filing and it was only because of the COVID-Emergency they didn't check income, and I've had private health insurance for 3 years - and Medicaid was just an extra. I have 2 kids that are on Mediciad but through my ex-wife's and I can't remove them, because they are under my ex-wifes name -- if I call they say it's not under me by my ex. What could I show to the consular/do to strengthen my case --- we won't need public benefits and explain kids are on Medicaid through my ex but are on my health insurance policy. I wanted to know --- what should I present to the consular to show (my fiance won't be a public charge). I own a house that is almost paid off, have health insurance with my kids, and myself. How do I prove to them (the Medicaid) my kids are on, isn't under my name but my ex? What can I do to strengthen my case - though I was on benefits (through COVID emergency)? I make enough money, and there's no reason she would be a public charge under my insurance.

Hi. For the i864A, is it necessary for my joint sponsor (my mother) to have the correct employment status checked under Part 3? She's retired, but she insists on putting "housewife" even though her husband died a few years ago. She refuses to check "retired" because she's ashamed of her last job as working in a supermarket. The last time she worked was back in 2007. What should I do in this situation? Does it matter for the Embassy Interview?

I'm having problems finding my fiance health insurance here in the US, either its temporary insurance, which doesn't include prescriptions and wellness. But comprehensive insurance plans require you to have a social security number. How does one overcome this?

Hello, I know about the Adjustment of Status, the Employment Authorization, and the Advanced Parole. I am trying to make sure there is no paperwork or anything we need to do before the 90 days expires AFTER we have gotten married, obtained a signed marriage license, and filed the license with the county. From what I understand Adjustment of Status is the next thing, but it isn't REQUIRED before 90 days, correct? Is there any paperwork we need to file, any form, to prove we fulfilled the requirement for getting married in 90 days? Thank you.
