US Immigration from Pakistan

My case is Documentary approved (NVC) November 2023 and waiting since then for US embassy in Islamabad Pakistan to schedule for interview. Tried expediting it through Congress/Senate but nothing happened. Recently Someone told me to transfer it to Oman. Can someone guide me . It s depressing.

I am an Overseas Pakistani living in Saudi Arabia but am a Pakistani National originally from Pakistan. I wanted to ask why the NVC has included a Document Type for "POLICE CERTIFICATE (PAKISTAN)" (see attachment 1 below).

The NVC Website clearly states "Police certificates are not required for consular processing." for Pakistan (see attachment 2 below)

I have my Saudi Arabia Police Reports ready but don't think I can easily get the Pakistan Police Reports as I can't travel to Pakistan at the moment. The website I linked also mentioned "Visa Classification: The type of nonimmigrant visa you are applying for.", so does it not apply to me since my case deals with Immigration?

Any clarification and advice on next steps and what I should do/upload for "POLICE CERTIFICATE (PAKISTAN)"?

Hi, my PD is current and document qualified in august 2023. Can anyone advise, how much time is estimated for interview at the embassy?

How do I know if NVC has received our approved petition? I am USC the petitioner and I have received NOA2 more than a month ago that our petition was approved and NVC will handle the rest of process but I haven t received any communication from NVC yet . Do I need to create any login for NVC to check the status of our application or something?

We have just paid the Affidavit of Support Fee and IV Fee and it has been marked as PAID.

We have yet to submit Affidavit of Support Documents & Financial Evidence + IV

Applications.

I wanted to ask:-

• How long is the process for submitting Affidavit of Support Documents & Financial Evidence + IV Application?
• How long does it take for an interview to be scheduled and how far is it typically scheduled?
• How long does it take to hear if the Interview was successful?
• How long do I have to go the USA?
