Hello, can a US citizen bring family member living in the another country to the US ?

Has anyone successfully scheduled a Visa appointment on the new AVITS Site? Just trying to know that there is anyone with progress.

I am working on a K1 application and I don't know what to submit to show that my fiance's customary divorce happened. It has been several years since he divorced and nothing was filed for the marriage or divorce.

The reciprocity schedule says (I added the bold for the part that applies to us):

1.)a.) Marriage Under Native Law and Custom: Traditional marriages are often dissolved without any written record. One legal method of divorce involves the groom or his family returning the bride price to the bride or her family. Divorces for some traditional marriages are documented by one or both parties filing an affidavit with a Customary Court. Finally, traditional marriages may be formally dissolved by a Customary Court and a divorce decree issued by the court. Where there is no Customary Court in the area, a Magistrate Court may dissolve a customary marriage. The courts may dissolve a traditional marriage without one of the spouses being present or even knowing that the divorce took place.

Do we submit affidavits describing the marriage and divorce? Does he file an affidavit with the court? Does he start a divorce proceeding even though the marriage ended years ago??

Hello all. Was wondering where can one obtain a police certificate in Nigeria and the process in which one can obtain the correct certificate. Can one request it online or do you have to go to ikoyi? Current state is delta state
