Please I filed vawa in 2018.i am a abused spouse and I think my lawyer put me in the wrong category.i am married to a us citizen.when filling the form,instead if him to thick the box with battered spouse,he went to thick the box is widower or special immigrant when I am not a widower. He put me under category c14..I don't know what to do and I have being seeing in this forum c31..please someone answer me..my case has being way over 2years and I renew my ead and being pending for more than a year n I am out of work now cos he keeps putting me under category c14.

Hello all. A question for those who know. My fianc is in Nigeria and we are in the process of a K1. We received our NOA2 June 17 and I have our NVC case number that I received via email after submitting an inquiry. My question is, when does my fianc fill out his DS160 and pay the application fee? Are we supposed to wait for the welcome letter from NVC? I know things are taking longer than normal due to the COVID-19 and the embassy in Nigeria isn t open yet for interviews. Any insight would be appreciated! Thanks!

Does the applicant need go to the interview with original or photocopy of Affidavit of Support and supporting documents?
