WHAT DOCUMENT DO I UPLOAD FOR A POLICE CERTIFICATE FROM NZ?

I am in the NVC process and pretty much all my documents have been accepted except for the police certificate! My husband, who we got the police certificate for, is from NEW ZEALAND and they sent the police certificate straight to the embassy, so we don't receive anything but an email confirming the police have sent the info to the embassy. So my question is WHAT IN THE WORLD DO I UPLOAD?? I read somewhere that they uploaded the confirmation email, I tried that and it didn't work. I have absolutely no idea what to do. Any help is appreciated!

When reading the next steps for NVC it says AOS fee has to be paid with an US bank account. What do you do if you don't have one? My husband and I both live overseas...

Thanks!

ROC: CARES Act & Public Charge

Hi folks,

I've been living in WA on a CR-1 since May 2018. I'm currently applying for ROC and received the 18 month extension letter a few weeks ago. My question is about the public charge rule. I've been self-employed for most of my time here, but my income has stopped thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic. Since the CARES Act has expanded Unemployment Insurance (UI) to the self employed, I was going to apply for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA), but I am very nervous about it contributing towards public charge inadmissibility. From everything I've read, receiving UI payments does not make you a public charge if you were in regular employment, because your employer was paying into UI, therefore it is an "earned benefit", not government assistance. And the CARES Act has expanded UI to include self-employed, which is great, but it doesn't change the fact that the self-employed never contributed to UI. SO... if you're self employed and receiving UI, is it still considered an "earned benefit" , or considered government assistance and invoke the public charge rule? Am I overthinking this?!

Replacement GC within application period for condition removal

Hello all,

I had my wallet stolen about a month ago. In it of course was my GC. (Never doing that again)

I filed my application to have my conditions removed from my 2yrGC last November (2019). I had my biometrics in January.

If I do an application for a replacement Green Card it will take 12 months, possibly longer now. Not to mention costing me $550. Either way I won't have a physical GC when the time comes to possibly have my interview for my 10yr GC. I'm also technically eligible to apply for naturalization in November.

All my process so far has been very smooth and painless, albeit lengthly. Now I'm genuinely concerned about what to do.

What do I do???

Back again with more questions.

We filed the I-130 petition online. In the begining of April, we received a wierd RFE saying that our I-130 form was not included when we submitted our evidence. It was done online and if we never sent and paid for the I-130, I have no idea how gave us an RFE for a petition that apparently doesn't exist in their system.

The RFE also says they need a wet signature of the I-130 and no photocopies accepted. We immediately mailed out a hand-filled I-130. We have had no account updates since. Others who have responded to the RFE online already received notice that their documents have been recieved.

Its been 22 days since we were issued an RFE. Should we also upload the documents on our USCIS account in the "respond to request" section of the RFE? Or should we just wait? I have called a few times trying to get confirmation that they received our documents, but USCIS is saying they do not issue confirmations, when clearly I see others getting them. Our parcel tracking does say it arrived, but confirmation form USCIS would be nice :(
