We are stuck and need advice: American and Italian, both living in the Netherlands. Got a job offer in the US and has to relocate in 3 weeks. Considering the current situation (covid travel ban and delays in processing visas), is it better to get married in the Netherlands and apply for Spouse Visa with exceptional circumstances DCF or file the K-1 Fiance Visa? We cannot understand if k1 visas are being processed, but at the same time we worry that the DCF won't be accepted because of such a sudden wedding.

Dear everyone, A simple question; will the 'do not open' package be returned to me after being reviewed by the immigration officer at the port of entry? Context: I think my official translation is in the package instead of the copy I have of this. Which may be useful to have for my AOS applicaiton. Thank you!

Global Entry interview upon arrival CR1? |

From what I understand, you can nowadays complete your Global Entry interview upon international arrival without the need to make an appointment. My question is whether this can be combined with an arrival on an immigrant visa. My conditional approval for Global Entry is expiring soon-ish, and my initial arrival with my CR1 will be the only international flight into the US I have planned before that date. In case it matters, I've read in several topics that GE with a CR1 is not possible; however; while my visa does state CR1, it should be converted into IR1 upon arrival as my entry will be after our two year anniversary. Does anyone have any experience combining the Global Entry interview with new immigrant arrival?

I'm currently in the final stages of my CR1 application, waiting for my interview. It was scheduled in two weeks, but earlier this week I received an email from the Amsterdam consulate stating that 'unfortunately, they had to reschedule'. My new date is 5 days prior to the original date; which, while I'm happy about getting it earlier; I also can't help but wonder if this is any sort of sign or if it's just something random that happens. Does anyone have any experience with rescheduled interviews?

It is unclear to me what the best way is to answer the basis of eligibility question on the N-400 online form. A: resident for >5 years B: resident for >3 years and married to US citizen Both of these apply to me as I've been here more than 10 years. In the eyes of USCIS, which of these will make me 'more eligible'? Will choosing A be less of a hassle in terms of providing less evidence?
