Hello everyone! i got to the nvc step and since my wife is not required to sponsor me, her friend is sponsoring me and he meets the requirements but he's claimed as a dependent, is that gonna effect my case or should we look for an independent?

My wife and I are trying to get 2019 tax transcripts online, but the irs is not allowing my wife to open an account to recieve our 2019 tax transcripts. Will it be ok to use the 2018 transcripts? We are really frustrated.

I was wondering if the petitioner and joint sponsor both have to pay the $120 fee for the form? Since they both have to fill out their own form. I've heard conflicting information.

My husband works with a Sudanese man whose wife came on CR1 visa late in 2019

she had to return to her country to take final exams for her college

she had not yet received her green card but went (with a return ticket) but was stuck there because of the virus

Happy to say last week the embassy arranged for her to return to the US and He did not pay extra for this service.

So, i am hoping soon all travel may resume and those with approved CR1 will travel / be safe please (get a mask and wear it in the airport and on the plane)

When we came back from France we were met when getting off the plane by federal officals that handed us a phamlet to self quarantine for 14 days (taking our temperature ) with full instructions on what to do and who to contact if there were any issues.
