Hi Everyone, I'm new here! My fiance and I are very stressed out and pretty desperate for answers. My 129F petition was approved in June, and our file was sent from the NVC to the Consulate's office in Casablanca, Morocco on Sept 12, 2023. We have heard NOTHING from the consulate thus far. We've sent emails and called but everything leads us in circles. We don't have any answers. We're waiting for our welcome packet so we can move forward. Our lawyer thinks we definitely should have heard from them by now. As a matter of fact, I've checked some other profiles/timelines on this site, and other K1 filers in Casablanca, Morocco have already received an interview date despite having their file sent over after ours. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING. I have also tried reaching out to 2 of my local congresspeople but haven't heard from them either (MA). Does anyone have any insight? Any other people I could reach out to? Also, we filed our DS-160 and paid the interview fee. Are we missing anything that could be holding up the process? THANK YOU for any help/guidance you can offer us.

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well I have a question and I hope for some clarity. My fianc is from Morocco and we are at the nvc part. I have sent them inquires asking for an invoice number and case number and they did provide one without a welcome letter (still waiting for the welcome letter). When I tried to sign in and create a ceac account with the information they provided me the website stated this "K visas are nonimmigrant visas that assist spouses or future spouses of American citizens in entering the United States. As with all nonimmigrant visa applicants, a DS-160 must be filled out in order for a consular section to process the case". Does anyone know what this means? If I submit the ds160 will an interview date be available? I am so unclear as to what to do next.

Hey, I heard that the original letter of intent was needed for the K1 Visa interview since the petition would be expired by this time. My fiance lives in Turkey, am I able to send a digital copy or do I have to mail a letter of intent with my physical signature? (Still waiting to get an interview date but want to be fully prepared). Thanks!

Hello all, Hope you are all doing okay. Here is the situation: My fiance an American lady, we have been able to meet one time last year and we applied for K1 and since we are afraid that we didn't front load the i129f application with enough proof it might get rejected, so we are planning that she will come to Morocco again this summer to meet and be together for 2 weeks and have a traditional morocco ceremony, because the Moroccan embassy familiar that it is important for us to do that and it is not regarded as actual marriage, and we plan to go to turkey later on this year, so we will have plenty of evidence to provide later on too. My question is, is it possible to take my fiance with me to the Casablanca embassy, because we really love each other and we don't want this to be rejected and we cannot do the IR1 visa because of some personal reasons, so maybe her being there with me it would help to show the agent that we really care for each other and establish that it is a bonavida relationship, and at least it would make them check the new evidence we have, since I know the casablanca embassy sometimes they don't care to check for evidence and might reject you. We applied using RapidVisa, so we are sure that all documents were organized and handled properly before submission. Any advice to make this a smooth process, we would appreciate it. Thank you.
