I have to attach my police certificate to my status adjustment form if I have never committed a crime or offense or this is only when someone committed a crime or offense?

how do i know when i need to do the medical exams.?do i get a letter requesting them or no? from juarez/.

This may be a silly question and I could email our lawyer, but I bug the poor lady enough as it is

We applied for my husband s IR1 exactly 1 year ago. Our lawyer tells us that we are just waiting on an appointment letter so I have always assumes the next step is that we receive an appointment letter, make travel plans, and my husband has his appointment.

However, as I read lots of posts I see people saying things like, our case is marked closed, but still waiting on appointment. or our CC date was ____, but we re still waiting for our appointment. and I am confused by that.

I know every situation is different so here s a little background on our visa journey if it helps:

In our situation we needed a 601 waiver approval prior to applying for my husband s IR1. We joyfully received his waiver approval in July 2018 We then paid his visa fees. His application and all necessary documents were sent in mid-October 2018 by our lawyer. Again, our lawyer has told us we are now just waiting on the appointment. Is this accurate or is there another step before that?

Currently waiting for appointment in Ciudad Juarez. I am aware of the major delays with Juarez right now. Any insight on this process would be helpful!!

I have what may be an absurdly picky question, but I just want to make sure I do everything correctly. All the addresses that I'm putting on the I-130 and I-130A are in Mexico City, but is it better to put City/Town as Mexico City or its real name in spanish, Ciudad de Mexico? Thanks for your help

my husband is an US citizen with dual citizenship, 20 years of his life he lived in Mexico where we met 9 years ago. last year he got a job in the USA and we got married, he moved, we started the CR-1 visa process and they already accepted I-130. I do not have any illegal entry to the US and I have never applied for a tourist visa.
however, my husband had never filed taxes until this year (2018-2019) because he was a child when he came to Mexico. has never requested government assistance, and makes more than 125% of the income they request. Despite that, we will send a joint ponsor (close friend) with 3 years of taxes, the problem is that in 2016 the joint ponsor does not reach the minimum income. Do you think this is a problem? Should we look for another joint sponsor? I think that it is a solid case but we are worried for everything that has happened due to the public charge rules.
