Hi I really can't figure out how to use the timelines here, etc . So...I filed for my wife, a Mexican citizen in Mexico in November. Can anyone give me a rough time until the interview in Juarez? A lawyer told me two years! I am not using the lawyer, but I asked her to review my i-130. I am US citizen and it seems we have a super clean case. I know there are several steps in between. I know that doesn't help much in this current environment.

Okay, surely I feel like an idiot when I am working on these forms. Question, hopefully simple answer. My fiance (the beneficiary) HAS a passport. However they have NOT entered the US. Do I put anything here? Thank you!

Hi there, I was previously married and in the I129F form it asks for "Previous Spouse's name." Will I put their maiden name, or my last name (which they LATER took during our marriage and was their name listed on the divorce decree" or the last name they currently used (which they completely changed after the divorce)? Hope this all makes sense. Thank you!

Hello there, I am completely new to this community but so thankful it exists. My fiance and I are in the process of filing the K1 visa and running into small little hurdles with the paperwork (possibly overthinking it?). My fiance is the beneficiary and resides in Mexico. Both his physical address and his mailing address are exactly the same. However, the address formatting here VS Mexico is different. I am having trouble knowing how to format this, it clearly says on the form "Street Number and Name " but Mexico formats theirs with "Street name, number, neighborhood" etc. If I should rearrange this, I am concerned about him receiving anything mailed to him.. also I have the same address concern with listing his employment history. Any guidance is greatly appreciated, thank you!

My husband entered the country for the first time Friday evening. The officer said he didn t have my new address listed and was required to send the green card and soc security card to my old address. (I had changed it on everything two years ago and we even had to have a second interview, so my ds-260 was completely updated so don t know why that happened ) So now it will all be returned to sender. Anybody have a suggestion on which office to call or what to do to try to head off this debaucle?
