Hello anyone. So i was in the u.s since i was 7 and my parents and iover stayed toirist visa. I turned 18 was illegal from 18 to 21 wyen i became a Daca recepient. Left the u.s in 2017 due to not receiving any news on my permit renewal and ny mom being il in mexico. Left voluntarely to care for her. A montu later i received my daca in the u.s. but useless since i was altlready in mexico. My fiance and i filed k1 visa had my interview. Was filed inadmisable for the over stay from age 18 to 21 technically 3 yrs but only got a 3 yr bar instead of ten ( not complaining) i have already been in mexico for 2 yrs. Before having my interview do those count as part of the bar sentence? At the interview they tell you all the reasons why ur inadmisable? I have proof of being here when i first arrived in mexico two years ago how do i get the opportunity to show that ive served my sentence. Do i need a legal paper from a lawyer. Most importantly. How do i contact the juarez embassy more directly on more details.

Hi there, does any know how many times they update the case status before it is approved? My status date had been stuck on 10/14/2019. I just checked and it now reads 01/15/2020. This would be the 3rd update since submitting forms for I-130 spouse on 07/24/2019. Hoping it is a good sign.

Nov. 20, 2019 I had a house fire which We completely lost everything inside the home. I was able to recover my immigration folder with original documents already submitted to the NVC, you are able to read my original documents but the edges of the paper is burnt. My passport was completely ruined therefore I had to get a new one.

January 10 of 2020. I got an email from the NVC saying they have updated my case which all of my documents(burnt ones) have been accepted. I do not know what to do next or what being accepted means if I didn t receive an approval letters or email.

my question would be

1. has anyone else had damage documents but have already been accepted, what do you take to your interview? (I got a new birth Certificate sent in, I got a new passport, I got a new criminal record. But I do have all the burnt documents (able to read just water damage,burns).)

2. what does it mean to be accepted on the ceac.state.gov website but not receiving an approval letter or email?

Hi guys I'M A K1 visa applicant, I have lived in the same city (Monterrey) in the same state (Nuevo Le n) since 16, is it ok if..... to the interview I bring the state police record? Carta de Antecedentes No Penales of the state (fiscalia general del estado), or do I really have to fly all over to Ciudad de M xico for the Carta de Antecedentes no Penales federal?
