Can I live with my fiancée in Mexico for 4 months while awaiting K-1?

My fianc e and I met in the US in 2018 at a professional conference. I've visited her in Mexico twice, and she's visited me here three times, and we've met each other's families.

We are about to start the I-129F process.

What if I want to spend 4-5 months in Mexico with her, on my tourist visa, while waiting for her K-1 visa? Is that possible? Part of the I-129F process is having my address history. I've been at this (rental) address for almost 7 years. But if I went to Mexico for a while, I'd need to give up this address. I'd probably have my mail forwarded to my dad. Would that hinder the process at all? I can have my dad open my mail for me if need be.

Thanks for your help!

Aaron.

I-944 Education skills

Hello guys! Our AOS package is almost ready, as a lot of you the I944 is the one who is giving me some headache, on the education skills I'm gonna send my high school diploma to be translated and do the educational equivalent since it also shows I studied english. Where I'm having doubts is my certification, I'm a certified massage therapist in my country, but here in CA, it as is own council who issues the licenses and certificates. I pretty much would have to go through school again to gain a license from one of the approved schools, so I'm just gonna translate my certification and write a letter about why I didn't do the equivalency, and of course my comprise to gain my license through one of the approved schools by the council. Do you guys thinks this is a good approach?

Any input is greatly appreciated

Ciudad Juarez Consulate - Priority Appointments?

I saw recently on the appointment website that you can schedule an ASC appointment, however you cannot schedule an interview appointment at Ciudad Juarez. Even though the Embassies and Consulates are closed, I kind of want to reserve an "early" ASC appointment now. However, I wonder if Ciudad Juarez will automatically assign priority dates to applicants who had appointments in late March and early April, but were sadly canceled due to COVID-19. I'm up in the air because on the email we all received if your appointment got canceled, it stated that we did not need to take any action on our part and that the Consulate would reach back to us with more information. I sent a contact form to the Consulate today asking if they have any timeline yet on opening back up, since I heard London is opening theirs back up in early May, and then also asked them about priority appointments. Hope to hear back soon!

My fiance's K-1 Visa interview date was April 2, 2020.

Hello Everyone!

I know most of us are overwhelmed by whats happening right now, and I come here to seek a little more information in case I need to do something regarding my family status:

About me:

37 Year Old US citizen (born in Mexico) (I got my US passport when I was 25 years old) My mom (born in the US and lived there a bunch of her life) never did the paperwork to recognize me and my brother as US citizens, when she finally did we got our US passports.

I have lived in the US and MEXICO, I have been living in Mexico for the past 9 years and married here. I have my business here and have been doing my taxes here in Mexico and in the US. I co own a house in Laredo TX with my parents. I have two sons who were born in MEXICO but I did not do the same mistake my mom did with me and my brother: I requested their CRBAs as soon as possible and now they both have dual citizenships.

My wife is Mexican and only has a tourist Visa, we never saw the need to apply for a green card for her since most of the time we spent in Mexico.

Things are now going south in my business... not that Im starving, but the Mexican government is not helping AT ALL to save small businesses. I have considered moving to the US and work with my dad.

The only drawback I have is my wife: I just cant leave her in Mexico.

I have no Idea where to start or what my options are...

I know that basically all immigration cases are on hold, and im pretty much without options.

Basically what Im asking here is:

Does anyone know which immigration route to take in case I need to leave Mexico to save my family? I know that me and my kids can cross the border legally without any issue: I just can leave my wife behind.

sorry if this is too much information to ask, but I dont know where else to look.

thanks!

I am new to this forum, though I've been snooping off and on over the past several months. My boyfriend and I have been dating almost three years; we live on the border - me in Texas and him in Mexico. Pre-coronavirus, we can normally see each other every weekend, if not more often. We've decided that we're ready to take the next step and get married, and we're eager to do it soon and get the ball rolling on the visa. We're planning to get married in Mexico in a small civil ceremony over the summer and have a larger celebration with family and friends later next year.

We'll be filing for CR1 visas for him, as well as his two daughters (ages 10 and 13). I'm excited and also overwhelmed and nervous about the journey ahead, but thankful for this forum for the information, guidance, and encouragement!
