Hi all, My wife and I are waiting for our AOS interview from a K1 visa (cancelled, will be rescheduled due to COVID). However, I m worried about some basic supporting evidence I won t be able to provide. We currently live in my parents home. They own two homes and are only here about 6 months per year. So, my wife and I are living here and aggressively looking for houses so we can move out. All of my personal info, documents, licenses etc are under this address. I do not own my own place yet. Therefore, all utilities, mortgage etc are not in my name. Additionally, my wife s driver s license is a different address - she was an au pair a few years ago and received it then. It s still valid so she hasn t changed anything on it. So, on paper, our addresses might appear kind of sketchy. I can t be the only one in this situation though. How can I best explain our living situation? As an aside, I have more than enough supporting evidence for everything else (health insurance/bank statements/taxes etc). Thank you!

Hey guys, I am not really making this post to ask a question but provide my experience with this and update as I go. Others can put their experience if they would like as well. Anywho...I e-filed the I-130 on June 9, 2020 and on June 10, 2020, I received a notice saying the application was accepted and is being processed with a priority date of June 9, 2020. I was also able to download a PDF version of the I-797 immediately. USCIS also mailed a copy of the notice and I received that on June 15, 2020. Also, I live in California but it looks like the efiled form is being processed at the Texas Service Center. I did it this way because I was still waiting on some documents for the I-944 and wanted to get the process started. Also, because I was able to upload all of the documents for the I-131 online and even pay the fee online so it was one less packet to mail and worry about. Another reason I did it this way is because I couldn't find many threads of people who have done it this way so there are not many experiences. Also, you can still file the I-485 in Chicago "concurrently" but you have to send it in with a copy of the I-797 notice for the I-131 showing it was accepted. I will be sending the I-485 shortly and will update with what USCIS says. I have a cover letter and a copy of the I-797 near the top so they know I've already filed the I-130. So, I will update this thread to see what happens and if you've done it this way as well, maybe put your experience with this. Thank you,

Hey guys, I am just about to finish my package and I am curious about filling out the I-864. Both my mom and stepdad will co sponsor my spouse; however, on the form, it seems to ask for individual income. So what I did was filled out a separate I-864 A form for each of my parents, put in their individual incomes, and attached a copy of the jointly filed transcripts. Is this correct? Thank you for the help!

Hi everyone! I'm working on filling out AOS paperwork for my parents. My question is in regards to form I-765, Work Authorization. Part 2 has a section titled "Information About Your Last Arrival In the United States. The section asks for: - Passport Number of your most recently issued passport -Travel Document Number -Country of issuance -Expiration Date for Passport or Travel Document My parents had a B/2 Visa and did not use a passport when entering the country. However, they applied for and received passports a few months later. Should I not include the passport number in this section, since it is specifically in reference to their arrival into the united states? Therefore, I should add the travel document number, and the expiration date for said document. Is this correct? I think I'm overthinking this part a bit.
