US Immigration from Mauritius

Hello everyone, my fianc e mailed our K1 petition to the Texas Service Center on 2nd of Jan 2020.
Our packet was received on the 10th of Jan 2020.
I-129f was approved on the 18th of June 2020.

Since these chain of events, the only information we have from the USCIS is that they have sent our packet to the NVC, though the latter admit they still havent received our case.

I know things are not running as smoothly as before the lockdown in March but it still worries me that our packet might have been lost along the way. It will nearly be 3 months since the dossier left USCIS(thing which would usually take 2 weeks).

My fianc e has emailed USCIS and called NVC. Both have given generic answers.

Grateful if anyone could enlighten us.

Hello everyone I would like to get some enlightening regarding social security card & green card.

It's been a month since I arrived in USA.

I know the green card process takes 120 days as from arrival. We paidthe fees in April. But what about the social security card coz normally its takes 2 weeks & I haven't received mine yet. I tried to call the office nearby they don't have any kind of record on my name. And I can't apply for new one as the office is closed to public.

This morning I called uscis to enquire but the answer wasn't very clear. The person said I will get it after my green card which is not true coz my friend received hers after 2 of weeks arrival. So bit confused about this situation. I will need the ssc to apply for my DL and bank account also.

Any idea what should I do or is it just because of the whole covid thing I should wait more longer

Hello everyone I got my Cr1 visa in March and due to lockdown I couldn't travel to USA until now. The border will open 1st of Sept but my visa will expire on 24th of Aug. There's only 2 flight from Mauritius to Paris or London but there's a ban on Europe to enter USA if am correct. Has anyone asked for an extension how does that work. I send a mail to US embassy in Mauritius which I attached to this. I send a mail to the south African embassy am waiting for a reply.

Hello everyone I had my interview March 5th for my spouse visa in south Africa & return to Mauritius on 14th to catch my flight on 27th of March for San Francisco.

Unfortunately dir to lockedown my flight been canceled and seems like it will drag upto July or Aug.

My visa is valid upto 22nd of August

What will happen if due to restrictions of lock down I can't make it to USA.

Will they extend the visa or I will have to go through the whole process again
