Should I complete the DS-160 while case is sitting at NVC?

Hi, I was unable to find this specific question in the forums, so my apologies if it's been answered. There was a similar question pre-COVID but I am interested in the current situation.

During this time, when embassies are not processing K-1s, should I complete the DS-160? Since the interview date is not known, I am not sure if DS-160 will age out. On the other hand, I am concerned that my NOA2 will age out, so maybe completing the DS-160 will extend that deadline - I am not sure. Do you believe that NOA2 expiration dates will automatically be extended due to these circumstances? Any guidance would be appreciated.

RFE - Evidence of Meeting

I got my RFE in the mail today. USCIS is asking that I submit evidence of us actually meeting.

In my original submission, I mailed Airbnb receipts (which only had my name on it, because they were from before we were planning to file a K1), flight receipts to her country, a receipt for an engagement ring, and passport stamps from me entering her country. I also submitted a summary connecting each passport stamp and apartment and plane tickets I purchased to see her. I am kicking myself, because I forgot to mail pictures of us together.

In addition to the pictures of us together (some of which are in a well-known location in her city {others are in our apartment}), what other evidence would you guys recommended me submitting?

For our latest visit we stayed in an apartment she rented from a Lithuanian guy, so everything is in Lithuanian and my name is not mentioned in it at all.

Should she translate the contract and include it? I think she has chat logs with the apartment owner asking if I can stay there.

I was going to submit call and chat logs, an account of our meetings, an affidavit from a family member, and a description of how we initially met (all these recommendations by USCIS). I also have flights for both of us and an apartment booked (with both our names on it) for a vacation in a month. Should I submit these as well just to show we have a continuing relationship?

Also, what do I mail to USCIS besides the RFE and the evidence they are asking for? A copy of my I-129F?

Should I resubmit the evidence I already sent in addition to the new evidence? Should my fiancee and I write new letters stating our intent to marry each other?

Thank you.

Does anyone know what methods are used to determine when who's I-129F get processed when?

There seems to be very little rhyme or reason as to when applications are processed.

For example, Person A can submit their application two weeks later than Person B submitted his, and yet, Person A may be approved weeks or even months before Person B is.

It just doesn't make a lot of sense to me. One of the more popular threads on here is from a person who was approved for the CR1 after a month, yet most of them take a year.

Can anyone shed some insight into why situations like this happen? Shouldn't everyone's applications be done in chronological order?

Hi there,

I'm just curious what is going to happen to our submitted application because my Fianc accidentally put a wrong street and number (name of the company and ZIP code are correct) for her employer address... What are the chances to get approved or get the RFE???

I am looking forward for your opinions!

Dom

Hello there,

My Fiancee and I submitted I-129f form and we are wondering now whether is it okay that we left some columns "BLANK" that weren't applicable for our case.I noticed in the instructions that it says to put "N/A".... However, in Adobe Acrobat Reader we couldn't do it, so that is why we left those column blank.
