US Immigration from Lebanon

My dad had a green card and he hasn't entered the US in 6 years since mid 2014. He had his mom pass away in early 2015 after being sick and his dad also pass away in 2027 also after being sick. He was taking care of them and he couldn't travel to the US. After that he also had other as important family events until early 2020. My question is:
Is it worth it for him to try and re-enter the US or not even bother after 6 years? did he for sure lost his residency? He can have proof of all the events that kept him from traveling (doctor testimonies, death certificates,and so on...). I appreciate any help.

I checked my visa status (CR1) and it said READY.

does that mean that it is currently at the embassy? shall I receive a letter or an email or both (from NVC)? what about the COVID situation, are consulates having any interview? and shall I arrange for an interview or do I wait for NVC to arrange for one?

I called the CBP to make sure that I can enter the US.. I'm an immigrant visa holder who is an immediate relative of a US resident... He said that I shouldn't travel to the US through europe because I'll have to wait 14 days in another country. That's.. wrong, right? Shouldn't I be excluded according to Ban?

My F4 immigrant visa expires on June 18. Middle East Airlines is offering a flight from Beirut to London on May 22 that you can connect to the US. I did book the ticket and the connecting flight but the latter was cancelled and there are no more flights I can book. I don't know what I should do I'm panicking and i'm scared i'll lose my visa :((((. I also lost 1400 dollars now or possibly more because of the flight from Beirut to London, and I don't know if I wanna take any more risk if they offer another flight

US embassy is sometimes offering repatriation flights through Qatar Airways for Permanent residents and US Citizens. I don't know if I'm eligible to go? I just have an F4 immigrant visa. One thing that could happen is that my mom can go ( She has the I551 thingy, when the immigrant visa is stamped by A CBP Officer and is valid for 1 more year ), and I can follow her? Is that possible? On the Qatar Airways flight, I mean.
