US Immigration from Lebanon

Hey,

I received a call from the embassy two days ago to inform me about my CR1 interview by the end of this month, however I have not received the invitation appointment letter nor did my lawyer. Is this normal?

I took an appointment for the medical and they requested my DS260 since I don't have the letter, but I am scared that by the time the interview happens, I wont be having the letter with me.

my initial CR1 visa interview was scheduled for march 23rd and was subsequently cancelled, however I recently received an email from the US embassy (lebanon) that I will be contacted "very soon" to come do my interview. I just have a couple of questions if anybody can help me:

1- do i need updated versions of the Civil documents that i initialy uploaded to NVC ? They are dated november 2019.

2- do i need to make the main sponsor (my wife) and the joint sponsor sign new i864's ? The old ones were signed december 2019 and were uploaded to NVC ? do they expire ?

Any help is MUCH appreciated.

The embassy contacted me yesterday via phone and informed my that my interview is by the end of this month, and they asked me to update my case file on CEAC with the same documents but new dates (such as police record, Marriage certificate, etc...)

However my lawyer did not receive any invitation letter from NVC nor did I, and we are not able to access CEAC to update my documents without this letter since NVC is not informed yet.

Did this happen to any of you before? I will try to contact the embassy tomorrow to see what to do, and I will bring all the hard copies with me to the interview, but I am not sure if this is enough without updating my case file on CEAC.

did anyone receive any visa appointment from Lebanon? my CR1 case file has been ready at the embassy since last month and no one contacted us yet regarding an interview, they said they will contact the candidates soon.

My question is, did the embassy contact anyone in Lebanon for an interview?

Hopefully this month all of us will get some good news.
