Hi all,

My wife's 10-year green card is getting mailed and it is right before the appointment. What does this mean? Does it mean that she will just have the citizenship test or will it still be planned for the I-751 interview? We got most of our bank statements (doing only ones sent after sending the I-751 packet (notably after December 2022, if that is acceptable)). What do you guys recommend, along with the standard items for the N-400? We hardly have anything joint other than leases (signed pages only), car insurance, health insurance and mortgage.

just got a piece in the mail about removing conditions from I-751 and it is at the same time as her N-400 interview. How does that work? Most things we have are under my name like car registration and utility bills, will that be a problem? With Bank Statements, how many will we need?

Hi all, it has been a long time since I posted here as we had been waiting on her N-400 notification. My wife found out that she is getting a notification for her N-400 interview in the mail shortly. What are some of the things that we need to know before going to the interview, and what documents will she need to bring with her?

I've been an LPR for over 5 years, but me and my U.S. citizen husband have been living overseas for years. I've learnt that INA section 319(b) waives the continuous residency requirements for n-400 applicants with qualifying employment abroad.

Now, I've prepared all supporting documents and uploaded them to USCIS account and was ready to submit my application. I started to have my doubts if INA 319(b) applications are not allowed to file online, and all documents must be sent through the regular mail (my co-worker has similar case and they just mailed physical documents).

Does anybody have a successful case of getting U.S. citizenship filing under INA 319(b)? Did you mail your docs to the USCIS office or did you apply online?

Can you please refer me to resources that can help?

I've read all instructions on the government website, but there's not much info for these specific conditions.

Full transparency, I am planning to visit my fianc for long, about 4-5 months as I already have a B1/B2 visa.

I have a full time job right now, and plan to get a letter of employment from my company before I quit, so I can show CBP the letter as proof of ties to my country.

I'm planning to buy a full flex plane ticket which will state that I'll be visiting for 2 weeks (also going to tell CBP officer 2 weeks if they ask duration of stay), but once I've entered, I'm going to refund the return ticket and just get a new one once I'm ready to go back after a few months.

Just wondering if what I plan to do is dangerous in any way? Everything I'm doing is technically legal..

I'm just afraid come time for my actual K1 visa interview, I will be questioned on why I was in the US for so long.... even though there shouldn't be anything wrong with that in the first place since I just want to be with my fianc .

But will it come off really suspicious to the consular office during my K1 interview?

Would just like to know if that will be affected in any way... any replies and advice will be much appreciated please!!

My fianc has a stable job so money isn't a cause of concern and I am able to be unemployed btw.. which is why I'm planning to quit my job after I have obtained letter of employment as proof.
