US Immigration from Kuwait

WASHINGTON, April 21 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump's new executive order banning immigration to the United States will last 30 to 90 days with the chance of renewal and apply narrowly to those seeking permanent immigration status, a senior administration official said.

Other workers such as those on so-called H1-B visas would be covered in a separate action, the official said.

The White House has not released details of the order and Trump did not say when he would sign it. The official said work on the order was in advanced stages, with extensive input from the Departments of Labor, State, and Homeland Security.

Hello everyone. I wish you are doing well.

We got approval from uscis one week ago .

My wife is USA citizen. She started working in governmental authority 4 months ago .can she sponsor me .her salary is above minimum. She only got work letter shows that she is working with them and the annual salary.

I got approval in 18 of march this year . In 21 they sent notification letter that our case moved to NVC. Please. What is the next step and kind of papers they want ?

My time to apply for the citizenship is approaching soon ( May end 2020) . As I was doing my research, I had a query as it appears I may have made an error. Here's the background.

I arrived in Mid August 2015 . For the rest of the year, the address that I had given (i.e. the address to which the green card arrived) was that of a friend. I had to tie up some loose ends back home so I was only in the country for about till Mid September 2015.

I subsequently returned in early February 2016 and moved into my new apartment. USCIS was appropriately informed of the address change.

Note: The total days I was out is about 169 days.

However, when I filed my taxes in March 2016 , I happened to give my new address ( or at least that is what I can gather from looking at the return)

Is this going to be a problem when I file the N-400 in May ( applying 5 years minus 3 month rule) ?
