US Immigration from Kuwait

Received the DQ notification finally today, after having to submit RFE's. So happy for this stage to be completed. Does anyone know the timeframe for getting the files from NVC to the US embassy? I am guessing that things are delayed due to Covid 19. Any info appreciated. This process has been too long and stressful, and is not yet over!

Was wondering if any members had experience with switching to another embassy once their case had already been initiated. Due to the Covid 19 my spouse is currently in Cairo. He resides in Kuwait and that is the embassy he would be scheduled to attend his interview. Our file is awaiting transfer from NVC to the embassy, but due to the closures, we wondered if the US embassy in Cairo might open sooner, and also if there is difficulties returning to Kuwait, this would delay the process. Just curious if anyone had ever switched locations. Thank you

Does anyone know whether the receipt number for the rejected forms from the USCIS and resubmitted/corrected forms are the same upon receiving a NOA1?

We are trying to track our package and whether USPS has it or USCIS, and we don't know if the receipt number from the rejected forms is the same one we should go by and/or give to the USCIS over the phone to check the status of our AOS package. We are still having issues with our package that we sent via USPS. We sent package since April 30th, and to date the package is still "in transit." USPS believes the USCIS "probably has" our package. Currently, nobody has any idea of where are documents are; we haven't gotten any texts/letters, and the application fee check remains uncashed.

My husband originally came to US on K1 visa on 2/17, we married 2/20. We initially submitted our AOS on 4/17; however, it was sent back for expired forms on 4/22 (Notice Date) - Received 4/29. We then mailed back new forms on 4/30 - big mistake using USPS to PO since then our package has been "in transit" for over 10 days now.

We are scheduled to travel domestically on 5/20 (My Husband's I-94 expires on 5/16), but now are concerned because USCIS hasn't even gotten our package yet, let alone our NOA1. Is it safe to travel domestically when we are waiting on NOA1? Has anyone tried this, and were there any issues?
