Hi everyone..My name is D r..My husband H and I were married in 2010 in Jordan...and he came to the US in 2012..we have a nice home out in the country..and he is a Department Manager (removed).. Has worked hard to have a good life and take care of his family...He is doing amazingly well..very successful..I'm so proud of him...He is currently in Jordan visiting family...We were going to get started on his Citizenship, but because he needs to be here we will start when he comes home in a couple weeks... I'm so thankful we have a beautiful and loving life together... My question is concerning my brother in law... He did live in the U.S. for quite a while... but his family needed him at home so he went back... He had Residency and a Social Security card...which he has lost!! And he doesn't remember the number... He would like to come back here for a visit... They are not going to just give me his S.S. number if I call the office... so my question is... Can he get a visitors visa to come here and take care of his S.S.? Is there a way for him to get his number over in Jordan? Or what would he need to do? Would H being a Legal Resident be able to bring him here? Thank you all so much for your help with this issue if your able to answer the questions I have.

I had an interview for my immigrant visa, everything went well and they took my passport. It has been three months and my status still shows ready. I had a tourist visa and the officer said it will be cancelled before an immigrant visa can be issued. Is this why my passport is delayed? Does it take much time to cancel an active B1/B2 visa and replace it with another visa?

Hello, for the I-130 stage, my husband was not born in America and we will not be using passport stamps to prove anything as we have always resided in the same country, so will there be need to provide copies of all his passport pages? A second question is: how many photos of the couple are too many? We dated secretly due to the conservative nature of our families, and were afraid to be seen together in public, so we don't have many photographs other than selfies of us during the years. Should we provide them? I heard that is not strong proof. We only have photographs with people other than the two of us from the marriage ceremony!

Hello, will it pose an issue that my husband's name in the US passport is [first name][father's name][last name], while in the marriage certificate it is [first name][father's name][grandfather's name][last name]? Please note that we are from Jordan, and in our country the official English birth certificate issued by the Ministry of Interior, Civil Status and Passport Department in English omits the grandfather's name in the translation, so when in my birth certificate too, my grandfather's name is on the Jordanian passport but not the birth certificate.

So my husband and I had our interview October 6, 2021 for adjustment I-485 from K1. We thought everything went great until: - The officer handed us a "file being held for review" letter. - On November 16, 2021 we received an RFE and started preparing - On December 13th uploaded everything onto the USCIS portal and met the deadline which was December 21st - I waited 60 days as told then I called USCIS in January to check on things and agent confirmed he saw all evidence and send a notice to the interviewing officer to review and get back to us within 30 days - I went to my post office and opened a letter today which was dated March 7th and it was a denial stating we never submitted the documents required by December 21st and therefore we are considered ABANDONED. (#######!!!) - Letter also stated we can not appeal but can file a motion to reconsider I-290b. What would you all do in this case besides the obvious which is file an I-290b. Should I create an infopass and go down to the USCIS office, hire a lawyer or?? Thanks,
