Hi all, I am currently on F-1 on STEM OPT extension with EAD expiring on Feb 24 2020. I filed for AOS (and a new EAD) thru marriage to a USC spouse in August last year, and still waiting for a new EAD (151 days as of today). Since my current STEM OPT extension EAD expires in a month or so, I am starting to freak out. I have not told my supervisor at work just yet since I do not want to cause any panic. Here is my timeline: Concurrent filing of I-485/I-130/I-131/I-765 received 8/6/19 Biometrics done 9/10/19 I-765 status changed to "case was updated to show finger prints were taken" 9/10/19 I-485 status changed to "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" 12/13/19 Is there anything I can do to prepare for a scenario where my current EAD expires before the new EAD comes? From the EAD approval timeline on VJ, USCIS website and Trackitt, the processing time seems pretty variable so I feel it is hard to predict what's going to happen. Is it worth it to apply for an Expedite Request??? Or should I continue to sit tight hoping for the new EAD approval soon? Thanks for all the input & help in advance! Mai

Anyone entered US via CR-1 visa on October received their green card yet? I am starting to wonder if that because my wife entered and exit US within a week. Long story short, my wife entered US when she got the VISA, and stamped on her passport. However, she still have something to taken care of back home, so she went back about a week in the US, will that cause the delay of the green card since she is not in the US right now She will come back before 6-month rule, I was thinking if I can get GC before she come back, I can go visit her and give her the GC then travel back to US together. Should I be worried or just patiently waiting for it to come?

I-751 Evidence Advice RE Phone Bill |

Hello everyone. Like many here I am now working to compile all of the evidence for my wife's removal of conditions (90-day period begins 12/22/2019) and I have seen a lot of discussion about phone bills and how useful they can be included in evidence. However, I have a predicament. I have statements from my Ting Mobile account dating from the month of my wife's immigration to the US (that's when I switched carriers, and also when I moved apartments to where we live together now). The only useful information shown on the statements is the amount of devices used (2) and usage amounts, and the bill is in my (the spouse's) name. Now... The problem is I forgot to update the billing address when I moved! I accept this as simple stupidity on my part, as it is one of my auto-pay bills and we are mostly paperless these days and I just make sure the amount looks right every month before the money goes through and never gave it a second thought for these two years. Should I even bother including this in my evidence? I feel that this is a weak piece of evidence for us and might create more questions rather than help our case. Would an explanation of this discrepancy be helpful? I'm feeling confident in other areas of our evidence list, but this has been bothering me a bit as our utility bill is also only in my name and we don't have a lot in terms of joint bills outside of a joint credit card we use monthly. Any help would be appreciated. I realize I am probably overthinking this! Thank you for your time!

For the other who have received their K1 and moved to the US, what is a list if things you realized you needed, or would have made the transition much easier and well as the wait during AOS? I would like to compile as much stuff as possible to help with this fairly radical life change for her. For my fiance I purchased her a car as well as lined up all paperwork for health/auto insurance. Got information and applications for local ESL courses as well as credited courses. And so far this is where I've gone, save for the fairly obvious like phone plan, gym memberships, etc. What else did you find or wish you did, during this stage (or even after) that would have helped?
