Because of the current situation, all SSN offices are closed but services are available through phone. I spoke to an employee and was informed that I can send the SSN application through mail however must include my wife s Japanese passport. The actual physical passport....I am very hesitant about it.
What is everyone else doing in regards to SSN?
I would really appreciate feedbacks and tips from everyone :)

Already submitted our AOS.

Got pregnant. I don't have a work.

We do have an insurance under my husband but I'm thinking of enrolling in Medicaid which they'll cover the labor & delivery. (Emergency Medicaid)

Will it affect my AOS? Any idea?

Thanks

Cherry

NOA1 recieved on 5/18, will it move quickly?

I heard I-130 applications for spouses were moving quickly now because of the temporary halt on most other visa categories... since we filed online on May 18th and recieved our NOA1 in the mail on the 23rd (dated as received on the letter was still May 18th), and the temporary halt on other visas ends on June 22nd I think? Do you think ours still might get processed a bit ahead of time? 8 months seems like such a long time and I m so anxious...

Unknowingly checked the wrong box in our form.

Hey, everyone. My fiance and I thought we had gotten everything right on our I-129F form but after reading the instructions for another form, realized we might have made a mistake.

There's an item that asks, "Has your beneficiary ever visited the United States?" and we checked "no", because I have never been to the US as an immigrant or tourist or anything of the sort. Except 15 years ago I had a layover in the US (I was 10 years old) and we have read that it counts as a visit, but didn't know when filling out the form.

What can we do now? Is that grounds for an RFE or straight up denial? We have received a notification via text that they have received our form, so I don't know if it's too late to do anything about it.

I have read that it's possible to call USCIS to correct mistakes. Is that true?
