My husband and I moved to Hawai i from Washington 4 months ago. We sent an address change request to USCIS 10days before we moved to Hawai i but I just got email from them saying no one came to the interview and this will significantly affect your case we even called them and told them that we want to have an interview here in Hawai i and the guy who we talked said I ll send a request and send your notice. We tried to call them to confirm in five different times but they never picked up. What should I do next?your case.

Beneficiary's Overseas Address

I have a few questions about filling out address's on the i-129f for K1 visa.

Currently me (petitioner) and my fiance (beneficiary) are living together at my apartment here In Japan, however she is not technically legally registered as living here.

I work in Japan and as an English Language Assistant teacher, and thus live in an an apartment with government subsidized rent.

Under official rules of my work contract, people are not allowed to live with me, as to not be mooching of my subsidized rent, but my boss who so happens to be my good friend gave me the okay off the books. To be honest its really not that strict.

My fiance currently is registered at her parents address one town over, so i was planning to use that as her mailing address and physical address abroad.

I understand any mail sent to her would go there. I can travel there to retrieve documents or have her parents relay me any necessary information.

Conversely, since my fiance is physically present with me everyday because we live together, i thought perhaps it would be a strong case of evidence to show the legitimacy of our relationship.

I assume USCIS will lookup her registered address, but also feel maybe it won't look great that that address is the same as her parents?

Would like to be as honest as possible.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I will have an interview for N-400 and it looks I need to bring the evidence of Selective Service registration.

I got my green card when I was 38 from H1-B, so it is already passed age 26. Therefore I cannot bring the evidence since I am not registered. What would be the problem at the interview? Please advice me.

Hello everyone,

My fiance will be here soon, and in california civil weddings are being done online, and are backed up, so we cannot get married asap.

Since there will be some time before we can actually get married, I wanted to have some health insurance for my fiance until that time.

Does this look like the right strategy:

1. Before traveling to the usa, buy 1-2 months of Patriot America Plus health insurance to cover any emergencies that may happen.

2. After POE, after 1 or 2 days, go to a social security office and apply for a ssn with her maiden name.

3. Get married as soon as the online marriage service is available.

4. AOS

5. Compare health insurance cost/ benefits for adding my fiance to my employer provided health insurance, and the cost of insurance through the marketplace ( covered california ),

And finally get health insurance.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hey Y'all,

I'm sure this has been asked ALOT! Either way I'm going to ask because I'm having troubles doing a expedite request for my K1 visa. My first question is at what point do I request an expedite request, after NOA1 to USCIS or after NVC? The second question is when I call USCIS Military help line I can't speak to an actual person. Does anyone know how to talk to an agent? I'm in the military and trying to expedite my petition due to my current job location.

Thank You,

Wyatt
