Quick question! I am almost through this whole I-129f application, and will be filing with my fiance from abroad as the petitioner. Due to filing from abroad I went ahead and put my mother's address in the USA for mailing address, and my Japanese address for physical address. As for my cover letter, should i use my mailing address in the states or physical address? best,

I can download our house deed via our county s online recorder website, however it has an unofficial watermark across each page. Is this sufficient to submit as evidence or do I need to pay for the official certified version (~$25), which also may take months to obtains due to COVID delays. Also, we refinanced so wondering if I need to provide initial deed and post-refinance updated deed? Thanks!

Hello everyone, Is there anything worng with this: Getting married tomorrow 12/29 SSN office called today after we were waiting for a couple of weeks, said we have an appointment to get a new ssn 12/30. This is under the assumption that we are not married yet. I asked if there would be an issue if we got married before the appointment. He said he has heard of instances where people had issues trying getting the card after being married. We definitely will not have our marriage certificate to show them on the 30th anyways. Is there any issue just getting the SSN with my fiance's maiden name, the name on her i94 and passport, even though we were married just the day before?

Does moving to a new state (and new USCIS office) “reset” your place in line for interview? |

Hi all, We have a filing date for my spouse s AOS of December 2019. In February (after biometrics) the case was updated to As of February 10th, we received your case/Ready for Interview to be Scheduled , etc. In September, we moved to NJ and submitted the change of address for my spouse and myself as the sponsor. On the USCIS case status website, the AOS status updated to As of September 2nd, we received your case/Ready for Interview to be Scheduled . In between that, it briefly said something like interview has been de-scheduled , though we never had gotten an interview date previously. Is all that time we waited between February and September now lost, and our place in line reset back to the date the change of address was filed? Or does the new USCIS office take into account the time we waited in the process? For example, if we were 60% through the line in Washington DC, would the Newark, New Jersey office position our case approximately 60% through the line for an interview?

My spouse s EAD/AP combo card expires in May 2021 and he currently works (AOS applicant). We were informed by his company HR to be sure that he applies for renewal 180 days in advance as USCIS taking a very long time to process renewals and he risks not being able to work. We sent the documents for both EAD and AP renewal via USPS certified mail, (return receipt requested) to the USCIS lockbox on December 11th. They were supposed to be delivered three days later but never arrived, and have been perpetually showing as in transit with no additional scans after departing a regional post office. I requested USPS conduct an investigation and they responded with no additional information and they do not know where our package is at the moment. I m worried if we send another, the post office may then deliver our original package and USCIS will have two applications and get confused. That said, we do not want to lose time for processing the combo card renewal. On top of that, we included the tear-off portion that came with the combo card for the renewal application, and we do not have another (except a copy). Should we send another application or continue to wait?
