US Immigration from Japan

I and my daughter mailed i485 for adjustment of status on February 7th 2021. (Initial visa is k1 and k2.)

We haven't received NOA1 yet.

We confirmed that our package was delivered.

My husband says it's going to be ok, they are just taking their time due to the corona virus.

But I'm getting worried because it's too late. .

I'm asking my husband to call them but he doesn't believe that he's going to be able to get a hold of somebody in USCIS.

I can't inquiry on their website since I don't have the receipt number.

Did someone call them and could you get a hold of them? Or is there anyboy that received NOA1 that late?

Has anyone submitted an AOS packet recently and has an idea of roughly how long it takes to hear back? I submitted my packet via FedEx on 3/8 and I haven t heard anything yet. I know it s a waiting game at this point but anyone with experience recently would be great.

I am devastated that after waiting over 3 months for a NOA1, and finally getting a NOA1, my check did not cash. I do not know why. It was an official check from my bank. My account had the funds in it. There is no explanation what so ever I could give for this happening. I am crushed because I cannot apply again, three months ago we were able to prove that we had met within two years and now we cannot. They sent back the application and said we would have to refile. Is there any way possible we could petition this? This is horrible and I could vomit.

Hello! This is my first (of probably many) post. I will be moving back to the US in June, then apply for my (future) husband's green card later in the year. Husband and I are currently together in Tokyo. He is Japanese.

We met in the US in Nov 2017. We officially became a couple in Feb 2019, after I moved to Japan to study.

These are the papers I will gather to prove bonafide marriage. Would all of this be enough proof?

- Translated Marriage Certificate (Will get married in April).

- Extensive text message logs since we met in 2017.

- Photos of us in 2017 and 2019-2021.

- Apartment lease with both our names (lived together from May 2020-May 2021).

- Can provide at least 3 affidavit of relationships (2 from friends, 1 from my mom).

- Can provide itinerary from when we went to meet his family in Fukuoka, Japan in 2019.
