Which covid tests are valid for USA entry

Hello,

Can anyone confirm which covid test is valid for entry into the USA?

I have read that the antigen test or NAAT test will be accepted by the airlines. Since one is significantly cheaper, I'm just worried the airlines might decline 1 or the other.

I-130 Online Form- Cannot enter D/S for 46.d

I have searched this forum and the web but couldn't find any information about this question.

For question 46.d on the I-130 form, it says to put "D/S" if the beneficiary of the application is an F1 student. However, the form only allows entering a date.

To get around this, under the the additional information section towards the end of the form, I answered the question correctly as shown below.

Has anyone else done an application online with similar circumstances (needing to put D/S)? I am interested to know what other people did, and if what I did is correct. In particular it would be nice to hear from someone who had their online petition approved.

My concern is that on the draft pdf this question is left blank, but the answer is at the bottom of the pdf attached under additional information.

I have attached these screenshots as well for reference so it is clear what I am talking about, and future people who search this question can see.

Translation of Marriage Certificate and Evidence

I am in the process of completing the online 130 for my wife of 14+ years. Obviously, I want to avoid an RFE, and I have a question about marriage certificate translations and evidence.

Question 1: I have two separate translations of my official Japanese wedding certificate that I had made for other purposes a few years ago:

1. One version is a self-translation that was notarized by the US embassy in Japan. It only contains the basic information from the original (names, dates, etc.) but specifically includes the marriage case number.

2. The second version was made by a professional translator and includes almost all of the information on the original form (Japanese mayor s name, etc.) except for marriage case number. It is already apostilled, though I know this is not required.

Should I just choose one translation (probably the second because it is more complete) or include both translations? Would including both translations complicate the reviewing process unnecessarily or is it a case of the more, the better . I don t know how finicky the USCIS is about the translations at the 130 stage.

Question 2: For evidence, I will of course submit my passport page, the translated marriage certificate with original, and my daughter s US Consular Report of Birth Abroad with our names listed as parents, pictures, etc. I thought I would create a PDF with 10-15 pictures of the wedding, and subsequent years together (with our daughter). We don't have any financial documents in both of our names. Do you all think this would be enough? Seems like the 14 years of marriage and the child would be enough, but other posters seem to have more evidence.

Hello all,

I recently submitted all of the required paperwork for my spouse's I-130 o the NVC. I am leaving Japan at the end of August and I am worried my wife may not have her visa by then. Should/ can I ask for a direct consular filing now that I have an offer letter from my company and a hard date? JFYI I submitted the remainder of my paperwork in late June.

NOA1 for I-485 on Dec 5th 2020, got an RFE in March. They received the response on April 27th (had to submit my tax return for last year).

Does this seem quite long to wait for an update since then? It's been over two months and we're VERY ready to have the biometrics set to get the EAD.
