I have my visa interview scheduled on January 22, 2024. They required me to bring my husband's certificate of naturalization, but he does not have it with him at the moment since he applied for his passport few days ago. I do not think we can obtain his certificate before the interview date. I was wondering if there are any alternatives I can take.

Hello, Was wondering if anyone had any advice when applying for a 2nd I-131. Some background info; Applied for current I-131 on 11/2021, was approved around 01/2023. Due to our life situation we are not going to end up using the travel visa as intended. My wife (who applied for the I-131) will be spending *more* than 6 months per year in the US during the duration of the travel visa, we will also be filing US taxes during that time. I think we have a good chance of being approved for a 2nd I-131 because of this, but I'm not 100% sure. My question(s) are as follows. 1. Does anyone have any experience applying for a 2nd I-131? 2. Any advice on when to apply for the I-131? Due to how long the i-131's are taking to process, we aren't sure if we should go ahead and apply right now as they are taking 1+ year to complete. Thank you for any and all advice!

Hi. I am a Japanese national who used to live in Korea for several years. I applied for the criminal records certificate at the Korea embassy in Japan, however, the document got rejected. NVC told me to obtain a new certificate from the correct issuing authority. I have checked the official NVC website but did not know what was wrong with it.

My wife just received her Visa and we will be moving to America shortly. We have a big stack of documents and are trying to figure out what we need to keep. I know marriage and birth certificates are always needed, but what about other stuff like the I-130, or I-864? here is what I am assuming Keep - marriage certificates
- birth certificates
- medical exam records
shred (destroy) Not sure - police certificates
- letters mailed by USCIS. (I have not received any physical letters from NVC)

Hello. I am currently filing my NVC documents. My husband has his citizenship oath ceremony coming up. I was wondering how I should let the NVC know of his new citizenship status after he obtains one? Thank you in advance.
