US Immigration from Jamaica

Just looking for the light at the end of the tunnel on our little situation.

Back in October I went with my husband for the interview (they requested me there for more proof of our relationship)my husband was denied the visa due to his medical. They stated we would have to wait a year which will be August 2020 for him to redo the medical showing no indication of that good stuff (y all know what I m talking about)and then we will be able to continue. She did go ahead and questioned us both regarding our relationship and said that based on her finding our relationship is genuine. But my question is what happens next? When he completes the medical everything is good will he get the visa or is there going to be more needed???

I was just thinking about the NVC's processes, polices, procedures, and staff members. I was thinking about how long, tedious, and exhausting the process must be for the NVC. Now I'm not making excuses for their behavior, or how antiquated their system might be, but I held a similar office job for nine years. Nine years, I sat in a cubical looking at reports on a computer and on paper, going over and over documents, and listening to individual complaints about their documents and why they were unable to get the documents that they requested. I hated that job, I had a number of documents that needed to be completed at the end of the day and it was stressful. Oh, and if I dared to look away from my computer and attempted to talk to someone in the cube next to me... I was always asked "Do you have enough work to do?"

Anyway, data entry is not for all and I guess I'm just here to help myself understand why certain things are the way they are.

What tests are done during biometrics? specifically are they testing marijuana? what about states where it is legal to smoke?

Submitted I-130 on 11/16

NOA-1 on 11/21 assigned to POTOMAC.

Submitted an expedite request via the online account inbox on 12/6, also mailed hard copy with evidence the following day.

No response to either. On 12/6 case changed to IN PROCESS

your Benefit request has been accepted and is under review

Not sure what that means.

12/19 Called and spoke to L2 officer who told me nothing was done in case. He submitted request again and told me I would get an email in 5 days. Still not case updates, no emails. This is day number 5 not counting Xmas. Still no updates.

Does anyone know what this means? Any similar experiences.

any insight how often the Chicago Lockbox is picked up for USPS AOS mail?

i know its the holidays (but I am still impatient , ha)...my tracking shows that my package was delivered 430pm on Monday 12/23 to the Chicago post office. It is still at the post office waiting for pick up.

Should i just be patient?
