Hey guys

so this is my story I know this process can be pretty aggravated so I m going to tell our story maybe it can help someone On this forum .. So We send our petition to the USCIS on March 14, 2018 actually we sent it two weeks before they sent a notification that they received it on march 14, 2018 then on the 13 September 2018 approximately six months later I got a notice Saying that Our I-130 Have been approved Me and my wife Was so excited!! I remember that evening when I was at work she called crying tears of joy my heart melted but little did we know the waiting game had just begun so about A week later they sent it to the national Visa Center and about a month later the NVc send our case number It took us about a month to gather all the information and paid all the fees And finally submitted the case on November 25, 2018 it could ve done way earlier but I had to get the police report so guys who haven t been at this stage as yet. to get a police report in Jamaica you have to go to the nearest tax office buy the fee then go downtown to process. Bare in mind guys it s an all day process so if you have anything else to do for that day please cancel or reschedule so approximately. I wanted to do the express but it wasn t available I had to do the three days.so one month two weeks later that s January 8, 2020 I got a response Saying I am documentary qualify

Hello all quick question for Jamaica do you need an employee letter for the affidavit of support or will current pay stubs suffice? Thank you.

Administrative Process

Back again,

So I wanted to start a new discussion regarding the Administrative Process. So my husband was approved for his visa, passed his medical exam, and his passport was taken. However, my husband only had a certified copy of our marriage certificate and not the original. He was given a 221(g) refusal form that provided information on what he needed to provide, and how to submit the marriage certificate. (I provided the picture below)

***Original Marriage Certificate Mailed (2/3/2020) same day as interview

***DHL confirmed that Marriage Certificate arrived and signed for at embassy (2/6/2020)

I am writing this post for two reason... To inform others and to understand that administrative process "pool" myself. I say "pool" because there are others in the same category as myself and are wondering about the process. Please help me with the questions below.

True/False: Every application initially starts in the "Administrative Process" after the interview approval, then status will change to ready, then to issued.

True/False: If you are missing a document and it is submitted, the embassy will notify you by email to let you know they have received the missing document.

True/False: Your case creation date will change once your visa is ready to be mailed.

And of course, the obvious... how long will the Administrative Process take based on a missing document?

When I log in the system to check my status on ceac it tells me my case is ready. I filled out the DS-160 and I m trying to pay the fee. It won t allow me to. Is their anyway I can pay the fee ? Also can I schedule my own interview or do I have to wait for them to schedule me one ?
