US Immigration from Jamaica

Hello everyone

My husband is completing the I864 and I am completing I864A. On the I864A Part 4 -2a and I864 Part 6 - 24A, I am having a hard time figuring out my "total income" from my 2019 form 1040. Do we list combined 2019 income since we are married ?

Got my social security card today in the mail, however they left the E off the end of my middle name. Looking on the website for the local office they are closed for in person visits. Would I be able to use the number for now until the offices open and I can go in to get the name corrected? I've seen where some have mailed in their original documents. I don't feel comfortable doing that, even more so now with the elections coming up and the trouble with the postal service recently.

Hi everyone my fiance did his k1 interview in Kingston Jamaica and was told he needed to redo his medical. It expires 8 days after his interview. ( This is with the 7 month extension) I did ask the embassy before the interview if it needs to be redone and they said no. but now at the interview they stated he's approved just need to redo the medical. I digress

On the 221g form that he received they checked off medical and passport and to return these to a courier service.

My question is would he just drop off his passport? The medical is sent electronically so what proof would he show for that?

He had received an immunization card when he did his first medical. This card was not taken during his interview. Does he need to have that sent back to the embassy as well?

The main reason why I didn t use a lawyer they were charging me $8500 For my case in New York. So I did it on my own and the help of this group.

my thoughts to you all who want to apply for vawa. Please apply without a lawyer! It s save a lot from you! These lawyer just want to take your money.

Hello guys

My husband who is now a US citizen petitioned for his mom, she case was approved by USCIS and forwarded to NVC. We are trying to submit a necessary documents so that her visa interview can get scheduled. We just need help with the I864 forms so that we can determine exactly which ones to fill out.
