My husband filed his I-751 in August 2017 and he was finally approved in March 2020. Well, as you know Covid-19 happened and he never got a green card. We inquired twice about the production of his GC and got generic email responses both times. We were about to make info pass appt #3 (he had to do 2 info pass appointments to get a stamp in passport because of expired extension letter) but on August 27 his status in the system changed to "Fingerprints uploaded" so we were happy that it seemed they were getting ready to produce the GC. But then, a couple weeks later, it updated to "your case was approved and your approval notice will be mailed". We are in possession of both approval notices with different approval dates. So we made several phone calls which amounted to over 15 hours on hold to finally speak with a Tier 2 Agent. He says that his system doesnt show the earlier approval, but the previous 2 lower tier agents both confirmed the conflicting info. I persisted and he hesitantly acknowledged conflicting info and said he would push for the GC to be produced. A day or 2 later, the system updated to "your case was transferred". Its been over a week since and we are still waiting on the letter to explain the transfer. We are wondering if we should just patiently let the process happen on its own, or should we make an info pass appointment to attempt to gain more insight? The info pass appointment location is 3 hours away and we aren't sure missing work for this would benefit us. The most concerning thing is we are about to close on a new home and the lender has already voiced concern over no physical GC. Yes we realize they still are required to accept his stamp and approval letter but we have already gone through one lawsuit with another lender because of this. We really want this to be over and wonder if there is more reason for concern over the delay.

Hi, What if you schedule an interview, but it's not 10 days in advance to do the medical? Can the medical be done after the interview? With limited availability for appointments, just wondering how to go about this.

So our original interview date was cancelled back in March due to the pandemic. All of the papers that were done on my end pay stubs bank transaction summary updated intent for marriage were from Jan to late March. My fiance had gotten updated police record in the summer as we were expecting the reschedule during that time. They have now rescheduled us to October 22nd. Should he get another updated police record non impediment and i send over more documents for my paystubs and bank statements? When he called they said no but i wanted anyone whose had experience or recently have been approved so we can get a better feel. Everything takes forever anyways so if he were to order the police record even expedited wouldnt be ready until "after". We received notification from the hospital that he would still be able to attend the interview despite not having sufficient time to send over the documents as they scheduled his interview 2 days after medical. His original rescheduled interview was today but they called yesterday stating the embassy needed to be sanitized and rescheduled us for the 22nd.

Good day everyone I am new. I currently doing a K1 visa my paperwork s at the embassy. I didn t get a letter from the embassy To book the appointment , however based on the embassy email they said first come first serve.. I made an appointment for the 20 of October however there is no medical appointment available I m really worried. Andrews stated that I can do it after the interview date and theN courier service the passport back to the embassy. Also is there any follow up interview questions anyone can give me or who had the interview before?
