I have a concern. I hope someone can relate and have answers to this. I am the beneficiary. My fianc already sent our petition and received NOA1( so if would be something to do in the petition, I can t, but at least I want to be prepared for anything) . I am Romanian citizen, with the residency in Italy. I was married in Italy. To do so , I needed a certificate to show I was not married in Romania. In the i-129f I put the legal separation as well the divorce Certificate of my marriage in Italy. However in Romania I m not married. Will I need to procure a civil state certificate from Romanian consulate that will show that? Will be that a reason to get an RFE? Or I m only getting too paranoid about this

Hi all! I am trying to figure out the residence requirements to file I130 by DCF in Rome. I wrote to USCIS last Thursday but I have not received a response. I have 2 questions for them: 1) Is there a requirement that i have residence (literal legal residence papers and/or Italian ID) for six months prior to filing (saw somewhere online but might be old rule) 2) is other proof of residence enough for example leases for the past year, permesso di soggiorno (my student one I got last year) and my new permesso that I got through marriage (received yesterday), stamps on passport, utility bills, proof I was in school half of last year, OR do I need to get my actual residence papers and or Italian ID? This will take 45 to 50 days to get. I worry the office will close in that time & I will have wasted time waiting for my residency /Italian ID. thank you. image from uscis site

I'm an Italian citizen and my wife is an American citizen. I'm in the process of applying for the CR1 visa through the consulate in Naples, Italy. Our I-130 was approved earlier this month and now I'm in the process of filling out the DS-260 and obtaining the required documents. I have a question regarding the birth certificate requirements. On the "Instructions for Immigrant Visa Applicants" it says that I need to obtain the birth certificate of "each person named in the application." Does anyone happen to know if this includes the birth certificates of my parents (since I am asked to provide their information in the "family" section of the DS-260)? Thank you!

Hello, On Feb. 20th my wife (USC)and I will attend the interview in SF for my GC. She has a 4 yo daughter and we live all together, she appears on the I-485 form. We have no chance of leaving her with someone else while we go to SF, so I was wondering if we should call USCIS and tell them or we can just show up all together at the interview. Thanks in advance
